Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

best selling point about this place is the location. its easy to find, its on dong khoi which is the most famous street in all of saigon. taxi is always in front of hotel so easy to get around. i stayed in a room without a view with my brother and it was fine! not an issue for us, but the only big issue we had was the smell of mold in our room which is irritating at first but tolerable later on. the bar fridge is well stocked and so cheap that its worth using. complimentary fruit in our room upon arrival was a nice touch. rooms were nice and adequate, bathroom nice and clean and tv has heaps of channels. good and safe place to stay, would stay here again...
Restaurant Tip:
Trung Nguyen Cafe just across the road and is A MUST!!! Delicious coffee and so cheap. Pho 24 also 50 metres away and worth visiting also.

Two of my requirements for a hotel is cleanliness and quietness. This hotel is centrally located and meet both of my requirements. The staff is friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation for a good massage parlor and the staff member (Ryan) personally walked me to a spa place around the corner of Dong Khoi and Mac Thi Buoi.

The staff are really keen to help, but their English isn't always brilliant. The breakfast buffet was pretty food although it he choices ran out quickly when busy. It took quite sometime for them to replenish the bread and the coffee. The rooms are perfectly fine, in fact it was quite nice to have such darkened rooms. We slept until we wanted to and not until the sun came up. My watch was damaged whilst I was out one day and the manager performed a minor investigation without any final outcome. A minor disappointment which didn't mar the stay too much. Would definitely stay again.
Nightlife Tip:
Bier garten is approximately 30 meters away and does a range of all sorts of beers. The Vietnam House restaurant is 30 metes in the opposite direction and did delicious Vietnamese food.

Perfect location for a short transit trip.
Very central location, good restaurant with windows above street level- nice point to enjoy safe life observation without traffic hustle, tasty breakfast with lots of choises, friendly & helpfull service staff.

We arrived late at night, check-in procedure went surprisingly quick & without any problems. We've got our luggage caried out without even asking for it.Room was spacious, clean, nicely furnished - quite quiet taking under consideration ,that it was lokated just above the street.Received all necesarry information that we needed to take a quick look at the city,by leaving the hotel were handed the map with all main attractions marked. When sked staff proposed to book the bus ticket to a different part of the country we were heading to - it was all that we needed & more that expected.Would recommand this accomodation option for people in transit to other parts of the country but also the ones wanting to experience some of SaiGons hustle & bustle.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Option especially for foreigners- go ahead to visit the War Museum with remains and tons of photography artefacts of American/Vietnamese War.Sometimes shocking proofs of the fact that the war is always cruel & you will find no right explanation for the scale of brutality,no matter what side you will find yourself on.

Everything within reach
location, cleanliness, accommodating staffs
9.7
The hotel is nestled within the heart of the city and everything is practically within reach. Dong Khoi street is also interesting with the different varieties of shops (restaurants, souvenir shops, fashion boutiques, art galleries). The rooms were well equipped with items that are necessary for travel and were very clean. The staffs helped us get around the city and were enthusiastic offering their knowledge of where to go and how to get there.

Hotel with great location and good Service
Great Location, nice and friendly staff

My cousin and I booked a room in Catina Hotel when we were touring HO CHI MINH city in early Dec this year. Although the hotel looked small from the outside, we were very pleased with what we see when we entered our room. It was spacious and cosy and we really liked the design of the room. The staff in the hotel were all very polite and friendly and responded to our queries promptly and professionally. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends who would be visiting HCMC :)
Restaurant Tip:
Vincom centre near Catina Hotel have many nice and delicious restaurants. Gotta check that out. Note that theres 2 vincom centre. Go to the one that is newer with pretty decorations
