The trips to Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi Tunnels were US$50 per person. I refused to pay $250 for my family of five. We soon found the same tour for US$10 at sinhcafevn.com
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, and Water Puppets Show. A huge and beautifully manicured park is right across the street for walking and jogging.

I would say the Chancery on the overall basis is a good stay and also good value for money. The free WIFI is an excellent bonus, as many hotels charges for internet services.
What a mess up!

Difficult to rate Chancery, as we didn't get to stay there!

Ask for a higher level floor; on the 5th floor we could still hear some traffic, I imagine on lower floors it might be rather noisy.

This hotel is not new, but is reasonably well maintained and serviced. The rooms are large - all suites. Cannot compare to other hotels in Saigon as I have not stayed at any, but returned to this one after my first visit some years ago. There apears to have been some improvement since my first stay which was quite acceptable.
- Travel tip : Take a ride on the back of a motorbike.
A good place to stay

No worries if you forgot to buy the Lonely Planet guidebook because street vendors sell the book everywhere on the street at 7-10 USD.
