Boutique hotel in central location

We stayed here for our first night in Saigon and arrived very late at night. The staff were all smiles and extremely attentive. Showed us to our room and explained everything in the room to us. The hotel reminds me of an old french style apartment with its white walls and dark wood floors and ceiling beams. The rooms were comfortable but the bathroom is a bit old and worn. However, we loved our stay because the staff were just soooo friendly and it was a joy to come back from a day of exploring the city and share our excitement with the staff. However we do think the rooms are a bit overpriced for what it is.

Staff were lovely and very keen and friendly.
Greeted on arrival with fresh juice. Fast check in.
Rooms very nicely designed with a nice bathroom with a good shower.
They recommended a good local restaurant that was very popular with locals.
Best thing was the breakfast. Seemed to have loads of courses, including soup, and I thought quite imaginative. Breakfast 'dessert' included suzette or more traditional style banana pancake. Fresh juice not from concentrate.
There is no lift and no rooms on the ground floor, so not suitable for everyone.
Roads around are quite noisy, but our room on the back had a good shutter that kept out noise and light so we weren't disturbed.
Within walking distance of main sights.
Taxi cost 150,000 dong in a vinasun metre taxi from airport

I paid $70 for deluxe room, the original value said $200. When I checked in, there is another tourists asking the room price. Hotel says the room charge is $60 which is much cheaper than my on-line booking. The hotel said they give the best price to walk-in customers.
This is my 3rd hotel in Vietnam but I think compare with 2 others, this one is not good as others at all.

Fine, rooms clean and attractive and staff very friendly. Minor inconveniences are six floors and no lift and woudln't make any concessions on 12.00 check-out - had to pay half room cost to stay in room until 9.30pm to catch late flight

Nice little hotel with a personal touch

I stayed here for a few days being sick and needing a place to rest in comfort. My room on the top floor was a perfect hideout, with a comfortable bed, bathtub and fast Internet. The only downsides were that the air con wasn't very efficient and the staff area just above the room caused some noise even late at night. The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely nice. So much so, that at times I felt I could have almost wanted less attention from them. But I'd rather have it that way. Despite of being happy with my stay, I thought the price was too high. The place is beautiful but shows some wear and tear, and is just generally a bit expensive for Saigon.

the staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The manager took us out to a local shop to buy a sim card and waited until the purchase was finished. The staff knew about the local area and gave ideas and alternative tours to suit our needs. The room was comfortable and we used climbing the stair as a way at keeping in shape as there were great restaurants just nearby
