Very near to Ben Thanh Market.
Very near to Ben Thanh Market and night markets. Family suit is big and clean. Staffs are very attentive and friendly.

City hotel is very near to Ben Thanh Market, around 3mins walk. The family suit that we stay is big and clean however there is this drain smell from the toilet all the time.
The staffs speaks simple english and are very friendly. The breakfast that the hotel serve are ala carte. Same breakfast serve every morning so we walk to the market for different breakfast. There are alot of shops under the hotel (street) selling winter wear (northface brand etc.) not sure whether are there authetic though. Overall it is a good stay.

Nice, clean and quiet room. Great location to Ben Tanh market and halal restaurants (Hjh Basiroh,Hj Halim, VN Delights,etc. Walking distances to other attractions (Saigon Square, Park, Municipal Palace, etc).
Tips: Get insect repellants. Internet not strong in room.

Great location for Ben Thanh Market Shoppers

I travel with 2 young kids. When I arrive and check in, they have asked me to pay for extra bed. But I have insisted not to pay. I told them that I have paid everything via Agoda. After I have persisted of not paying for extra bed, he then handed me the key without a smile. The next day, things got ok and we talk again. And he has helped with direction and all.
I didn't go for breakfast because you have to order. There is no buffet.
Overall, the staff are nice. They are very helpful.
Shopping Tip:
Night market would cost you 1/3 of the price of Ben Thanh market.
So during the 1st day, just do quick survey at the market and compare the price with night market.
For example, polo shirt at Ben Thanh market cost around USD15 but shirt at night cost around USD5 only.

Lovely hotel

We stayed in the Deluxe room (#201) with windows open to street below (quiet street at night). It's new hotel with less than 6 months old. room was designed/buit with great taste and detail. it's 100 feet walking distance to Ben Thanh market nearby. Will book again if in Saigon.
