Service, English speaking staff.
This was my second stay here. On the first stay, I was upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. The suite was much nicer, but the deluxe room was also clean, and reasonably large compared to other hotels I have experienced in this price range.
The room had a window which was good for light, but bad for street noise. I sleep well, so it was not a major problem for me, but light sleepers might find this a negative, as they would the many weddings that take place on Sundays.
A good thing to do is to walk to the China Town markets. It is within 20-30 minutes and you get a real feel for the neighborhood as well as some interesting shopping opportunities (though the district 1 markets are better suited to most tourists shopping needs).
Hotel Feature Tip : Very good massage at a reasonable price.

great service, English speaking staff, best massage in Vietnam.
Not very convenient to district one, breakfast buffet only 'ok'.
I found the service to be excellent, including the bellman, front desk, and even the cleaning staff. Most everyone I encountered spoke at least basic English, so I had no trouble communicating my wants/needs. Moreover, I booked a single room, but on check in was upgraded to a very nice suite free of charge. In addition, I think this place has the best massage in Vietnam.
Restaurant Tip : check out the great crab restaurants in Chinatown nearby.

the concierge, has good English and is very helpful.
this hotel is very expensive for what it offers. Its location for tourist wishing to see the main sights and visit restaurants, bars etc is a long taxi ride in the wrong part of town. It accommodation is shabby and staff have very poor command of English. The quality of breakfast was bad, even the Asian food options very poor. Staff very disinterested in helping guests as to busy preparing for an evening function. I cant recommend enough that you can get better value and service in Saigon.
Hotel Feature Tip : don't stay here.

concierge has good English and is very helpful.
incredibly bad breakfast.
this hotel is in the wrong place for most tourists, a long taxi ride away from the main sights, restaurants, bars etc. Its accommodation is very shabby and most staff have very poor English, which exacerbates all other difficulties. very poor service, or is that no service? everyone to busy preparing for an evening function, guest left to find for themselves- use a noodle shop outside.
Hotel Feature Tip : remember it's along taxi ride to area one and all the sights.

friendly stuff, complete service, free laundry ,welcome fruit basket
the lift is a bit old,far from the city centre
The hotel locates at the Chinatown of the Hochiminh city,so the stuff of the nearby stores can speak some Chinese,if you are a Chinese who visit the city for the first time, you may want to stay here to make your trip easier. The price is a bit higher for a backpacker, you may want to stay at the District one for a better price. I asked the hotel stuff to reserve two air ticket for me ,they do a good job. I heard some hotels in Vietnam will cheat the customer for a higher price, here I received some honest service.
Restaurant Tip : There are lots of CHinese restaurant nearby.

The hotel has their own spa.
Massage is reasonable.
The hotel far from the city center.
A lot of wedding ceremonies are held in this hotel. A lot of comings and goings of people make it very noisy.
But service such as free cleaning or the welcome fruit etc, is good. The consideration of the staff is great too.

The bed is old, it looks like an old house. The staff are sleeping in the receiving area with their legs raised on top of a chair. They were all sleepy.

This is a hotel with large, spacious rooms. Great food at the hotel restaurant.
It is located far away from the centre.
The hotel itself is nice and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. One of the best features of the hotel is the food at the restaurant. It is a bit out of the way if you're planning to do sightseeing.
Hotel Feature Tip : Great food at the hotel restaurant.

For a business trip this hotel is nice, but not for the tourist purposes. You'll need to take a taxi to go to the District 1 every time.

Good breakfast choice. Too far to walk to center especially since air pollution from traffic is quite bad.
Travel tip : Use taxi to and from hotel. Crossing roads can be somewhat stressful. 3USD into town.
