Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Old School Hotel In Bustling Ho Chi Min City
City Centre. Friendly. Clean.
8.7
Location - Smack in the city centre with plenty of other hotels along the street with pubs, local food stalls, mini marts and beauty salons.
Hotel - Clean.Small.Friendly and helpful staff who can speak English and Mandarin. They gave many tips and directions on where to go and how to get there in the shortest time. Breakfast was simple but the warm baguettes and cheese paired with fresh orange juice is the BEST!!!
Cons - Hotel rooms need more light as its a bit dark, not much window.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There's a rooftop on the 8th floor of the hotel! Do go there for drinks and enjoy the nightview of Ho Chi Min City!

Clean pleasant hotel in Pham Ngu Lao
Very friendly and helpful staff.Nothing was too much trouble.Good location and for the area very quiet
8.7
Actually stayed on three different occasions over 3 weeks in between side trips to Hua Hin and Nha Trang.Service was good and the "family dinner" was a great chance to meet other travellers and exchange ideas.Breakfast was quite substantial with reasonable variety. All in all a very good experience for a very reasonable price.

Would be happy to stay here again next time in HCMC. Didn't take advantage of the free meals offered by the hotel but it would be a bonus for some travellers. Great value for the price. Really fast internet connection provided.

Great Location
Central to all the restaurants and bars in District 1
6
The hotel is in a central area of Pham Ngu Lao which is in District 1.
Breakfast was just average for us.
Staff were helpful and pleasant.
Rooms were adequate and clean for where we were staying.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I would recommend the Cu Chi tunnels for a 1/2 day tour as this cover everything you need to see and know.

Great location, small rooms
clean and easily accessible, staff very pleasant
7.3
The hotel is very cleanand in a great position. Although the rooms are quite small, however if you are interested in being in HCMC you really don't have much time to be in the hotel. Staff were very helpful and although we are experienced travellers I valued the fact that one of the staff commented that I shouldn't go out with my gold chain around me neck.Probably wouldn't book for breakfast again, much easier to eat on the streets, however we did enjoy the chance to have a drink at the rooftop bar, out of the hurly burly.
Restaurant Tip:
Go out and enjoy the Temple Club, great foodand wine and also have a drink at the Majestic and watch the traffic drive by.

Sweet Hotel & Surrounded by honest & helpful staff
10
I loved my stay here.I arrived around 2am from the airport and the staff immediately knew that i was arriving. In the morning, they offer a very good buffet breakfast. I normally dont eat breakfast but in the 2 days i stayed there, i didnt miss their breakfast. Specially their vietnamese pancake. The roofdeck is romantic. Plus they have treadmills at the 5th floor i think. Bathrooms are clean. I have no complains. Front desks offer to help with directions and give tips on the do's and dont's in vietnam
