hote room clean and tidy, staff friendly less choice of breakfast menu...difficult to look for restaurant nearby the hotel Stayed the hotel for several times and it may consider one of the personal favorite. The room are presentable as for business travelers points of view. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful as they not hesitate to provide guidance. Anyway, the major drawbacks was that it's not easy to look for a restaurant nearby the hotel as one may need to travel further to downtown..

very clean, very warm reception, very friendly staff my friend and i loved Equatorial Hotel. though it's a bit far from the city proper, we did enjoy our stay there. it was romantic and idyllic. we loved the peaceful and friendly ambience. we felt like home, in fact. when we come back to HCMC, we would love to stay again at Equatorial Hotel or other hotels linked to Agoda. Thank you, Agoda for our perfect accommodation. Vietnam is very beautiful!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We loved the view of the plaza in front of Opera House; we liked touring the city; so peaceful and romantic.

only stay here for one night. this is a very valued hotel. worth this money. they have free shuttle bus to every famous spot. nice bed, no fan in the bathroom. pretty Christmas decoration location is a little bit far but ok. fast check out. they have very fair change rate from usd to vnd. overall it's a nice hotel. definite can stay next time.

Fairly impressive, well decorated hotel with nice clean rooms. Pool was especially nice in size and quality. Front desk staff were helpful Every morning there was construction noise that was very unpleasant. Staff were willing to relocate us to another room. Our Christmas stay at the Equatorial was very enjoyable and memorable. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the facility fresh and fairly modern. The pool was certainly the highlight as well as the renovated club room floor that was provided to us complimentary as noisy renovations were ongoing on our floor. All in all we would recommend this facility to others and would only suggest that you understand that it is a 10 to 60 minute taxi ride (depending on conditions) to the tourist area downtown.
Restaurant Tip : We discovered that we could walk to a Chinese restaurant at the Windsor Hotel for dim-sum. Coming from Hong Kong this was especially fun for us.

We will be coming back to the Equatorial again, although there has been a slight lowering of standards it is still very good value for money.
The area around the hotel is vibrant and offers reasonable places to eat good local food. There is also an excellent internet cafe about 200 yard from the hotel with prices that are unbeleivably cheap.
