Nightlife Tip:
Great location if you want to check out the fun backpacker area of Saigon without having to stay in a backpacker hostel.

Our stay in Ho Chi Minh City was great, and this hotel was part of what made it so. The location is great. The people are great. The only downside is getting propositioned everywhere you go within a km of the place if you're out past 7pm.

We only stayed for a couple of nights here but didn't have any complaints. It's very much in the backpacker area of Ho Chi Min City so it's no surprise that you're going to be approached with offers of tours and things to buy the minute you walk out the door. You get used to it after a while. The lobby of the hotel is quite nicely decorated, the rooms less so. They're pretty plain and basic but they do have aircon and a fridge. Wireless internet is available with a router every couple of floors so the signal strength is never to poor. They've also got a couple of laptop computers in the lobby for you to use if you want.
Overall we had a good experience here. Good value for money.

For those wanting a clean cheapie near the action, this is the place for you. I soon got sick of the local area which is the tourist/backpacker area so I doubt I'd stay again. However, your valuables are safe here, there's even a safe to store excess money and they even throw in breakfast which is the dreaded bread and banana routine but there's also eggs.
The hotel is very clean, rooms are kind of small but adequate and I'd recommend the place for those wanting to be near other tourists.
The staff were quite nice too. Those on the upper floors will have a nice little workout as there's no lift.

spacious rooms, lovely staff, ideal location (in the backpackers area, close to the open-bus stop in hcmc). also nice tours offered by the hotel to cu chu and mekong delta. an elevator was definitely missing when walking to the 3rd floor.

Hotel was clean but basic with no lift on the top floor this was a a problem however staff were very helpful and booked onward transport and trips. Both the cuchi tunnels trip and bus to PP were excellent and effortless. Breakfast was very basic just eggs and bread with banana.

Ask for low floor to avoid sweaty climb up at night

this place is a "top pick" in lonely planet and deservedly so. my room was the most basic option, but recently renovated. the couple of flights of stairs were a slight pain, but the condition of the room was stellar. brand new, modern shower. small room overall, but cozy. on a backpacker street, lots to do nearby.

well worth the money, good location. friendly and helpfull staff except for one thing that spoiled my stay at the hotel and saigon. they did not call me or noticed me when the taxi to the airport arrived. the concequencies of that was that i missed my flight home. i was very disappointed.it costed me and extra day in saigon and about 1250,00 usd for a new ticket.
