Unique old colonial Hotel feel. No gym room, only have 3 miserable execrise equipment in front of the swimming pool. I was checked into the deluxe suite room. The room is pretty big, kind of one room apartment with the bedroom seperate from the living room. The room was well maintained and clean. However it was near to the road and the sound proofing in the room is adequate where you can be constantly waken up by the noise outside like the car honks.
Restaurant Tip : Try the breakfast across the hotel. Can't remember the restaurant name.

Room was up to standard. Clean and comfortable and was in the new wing.Staff in the hotel were helpfull and pleasant at all times.Excellent variety of Asian and European dishes for breakfeast.Lots of toiletries in bathroom. The shower strength was, quite frankly,very weak, more water pressure would have been helpfull. Hotel is slightly off the main centre but a 10 min. walk takes you there. All in all i had a pleasant stay at the Grand hotel. Apart from the shower pressure i really would struggle to make any real complaint about my stay there and reaching the city centre proper was no real hardship. There are a multiplicity of restaraunts on the street from German to Japanese.Would i stay here again? Yes i would and that generally is the best recommendation.
Restaurant Tip : 5mins. walk is the Mojo restaraunt which i found excellent for lunch and reasonably priced with a good menu selection.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and facility, good breakfast buffet, beautiful room! Not much. It was a very nice place and good value for the money. We arrived early (9am) as our flight to Saigon was a morning flight and we were immediately booked into our room and did not have to wait for the early afternoon check-in time. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. It was also well situated in Saigon and within walking distance to most areas of interest. The staff were helpful and friendly. A most enjoyable stay in a crowded, busy and mostly unfriendly city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the local buses. They are very cheap and go to most places of interest in Saigon :-)
