Great Hotel in a Perfect Location
A very nice hotel with lovely staff and good amenities.
9.3
it had very nice rooms but no window in our room. the staff were very attentive and helpful. the pool area was quite small with only a few sun lounges. the breakfast was very nice. it was a great location as the market was just around the corner and there was good shopping all around anyway.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cu Chi Tunnels are not to be missed.

we stayed here for two nights and had an amazing time. the staff were so helpful and spoke english. nothing was a problem, they let us check out late and use the pool and showers on the evening of our departure. buffet breakfast was excellent, great selection of foods.

the service was great and the staff were polite and attentive even though most of them did not speak very fluent english ut we could still communicate. we were surprised to find a jacuzzi in the room as well.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try the Chu Chi Tunnnels Tour. It was very interesting and we even went through the dark tunnels.

Dont let them cheat you! Disappointing
location is only good feature
3.3
Stayed there 1 night just to try this hotel. Was disappointed a lot! I booked twin room but was very surprised when the reception requested to pay extra charge for 2nd adult. On Agoda they only quote double/twin for 1 adult stay. First time I saw this tricky approach, you buy room with 2 beds but only 1 adult can stay..:)
The difference was a breakfast cost USD 12 but this is waste of money as outside the hotel the gorgeous breakfast can cost USD 5 max.
Another thing you should be aware of is their Deluxe rooms (Deluxe!!) have no windows. This is typical for all lower floors of mini hotels nearby but not at this price! for 1 adult in the room with no windows?? Not is Saigon, guys) There are miriads of mini hotel around Ben Thanh market and they charge for normal double room with window and breakfast for two people.
When I asked for a room with window in this hotel, I was told to pay additional USD 40 for EXECUTIVE room!!! So, I guess the only difference between Deluxe and Executive is a window)
If you want to enjoy very affordable rates - opt for any other 2 star mini hotels and get a better deal.
Silverland is by no way deserve 4 star as they claimed themselves to be. The tiny plastic pool on the roof is a mere reason for this. Rooms are new and clean by now but interior is the same with all other mini hotels in the area. No window rooms are not recommendable to stay at all. Even those guests who dont suffer claustrophobia will find that it is difficult to breathe inside. 1 night was too much, I fled early morning.
Staff is generally friendly but not problem solving at all. All they do is smiling and doing nothing to resolve the issue.
Dont let them cheat you, Silverland is at least double overpriced compare to similar class and same location hotels.

Good hotel with good location
Good spread for buffet breakfast, good location, new hotel
8.7
the hotel lobby looked grand and beautiful. the room was spacious. the bathroom was clean and the tub looked new. the receptionist was exceptionally polite. the hotel location was great, directly in front of ben thah market and walking distance to most of the city main attraction sites. we had an enjoyable stay here and really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. the ice coffee offered by hotel for breakfast was fantastic. overall, this is a good hotel to stay in and value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Can book a local trip to cu chi tunnel.

“The Very Grand Silverland Hotel”
9
Best Value Hotel in HCMC ive stayed at so far !!! .
After checking out reviews i picked this Hotel to stay at for the last 2 days of our holiday as our melbourne flight leaves at 9.00pm we generally book to have a base until early evening so i was looking for a more modestly priced hotel to stay the last nights .
This trip we chose to stay in some of Classic Hotels in the 5 star range at HCMC ,HOI An ,Hue. i was expecting a good to mediocre hotel however The Grand Silverland Hotel & Spa is now at the top of my list ticking all the boxes
From arrival to departure i was totally impressed
The hotel staff and managers are excellent well trained and very helpful , Taking care of things like airport transfers and phoning checking airline reservations recommending shops that actually can supply your needs .
The fastest and easiest check in ever ( They actually take you to your room to complete check in which is great for weary travelers )
Room - Silverland Suite was well appointed clean and had a multi function Jacuzzi portal
Location is perfect a few steps from the market and all the sights of district 1
Roof top pool and bar small but fantastic
Great spa and massage.
Great Breakfast
Really the best value for money .
Five star service at 3.5 star prices
Wish we were still there !!

The hotel is located in a good location. The room that I was booked in is in a very good condition. The buffet breakfast has a good variety with changes almost on a daily basis.

Wonderful staff and good location
Staff were really polite and genuinely friendly.
8.7
The staff were great and the breakfast was rather good with a variety of offerings. The rooms are decent and it was surprising to find the bathtubs came with a jacuzzi function, though I didn't use it because it was a tad noisy. One bad thing about the rooms is that on the first night, the room was with a window but it faces the wall of the next building. The next two nights, we "downgraded" to a room with a fake window (just a mirror with window frames and curtains) which was otherwise the same as the more premium windowed room. But the difference in price for the room was US$20 a night. A huge difference!
Rooftop pool had a nice view, though the gym was rather small and ill-equipped.
