our room was a good size, with a little window so we could see down to the street markets, hotel staff were friendly they have panflets on tours but couldn't really give us much more information about ho chi mihn then that eg how to get to china town, resturants ect aside from that we really enjoyed our stay there
Shopping Tip:
Things are a lot more expensive in ho chi minh then the north of vietnam don't be afraid to use those bartaring skills

Location was very convenient, free internet in the lobby, front desk staff spoke decent english

the room itself was pretty basic and there were tiny mites/bugs in the bathroom, but from what i can tell they didn't come home with me. beds were good, tv had a handful of english channels. lighting/room itself not very charming, but the location was perfect for me. staff was very prompt about arranging airport taxi pickups

This hotel is in a very strategic location. It's only 100 meters away from the famous Ben Thanh Market.
Clean room, clean bed sheet, clean bed, clean bathroom but a very tiny shower room. I couldn't moved my body inside :(
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
They are always ready to help and loaded.
There's only one issue, the shower is so tiny. It's so difficult to turn my body inside the room (I stood 5'10" and height 165 lbs).
I would like to stay in this hotel again with a bit bigger shower room.
Nightlife Tip:
visit Nice Spot at Sheraton and Chill Bar at AB tower.

This hotel is a perfect base for a few days in Saigon. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are lovely, not your typical sterile hotel decoration. We stayed in a Deluxe room which had a computer in the room and great bathroom with a rainforest style shower.
Located right beside Ben Thanh market, within walking distance of all museums and sights and the Pham Ngu Lao backpacker area where you'll find lots of affordable restaurants.
Highly recommend a stay here.

We had reserved a standard for 3 nights but we were given a deluxe room for the first night , with no extra charge. The deluxe and the standard, with city view were both very nice , very clean. (Standard room was small but we don't care because we didn't spend much time in the room during the day. The 2 rooms were not directly facing the streets , so not too much traffic noise was heard. At each floor, the hotel provides a WIFI, well working.
The location was very convenient, near the market, near museums, near the post, near all.
The breakfast was simple, but enough for us.However, you could order something more if necessary.
Great value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
good location to visit the HO chi Minh City streets, in the middle of the old city.

my stay and hotel were fine...could be better. most if the people did not speak english very well and would require patient if you need anything from them.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very near the market. Market was big in the day time but the night one is very small, only two streets. Not many things to see and food in the night market was very average. Again, crossing the streets are very difficult to a tourist and you just need to cross even the cars would not stop for you

halo hotel is located at a very accessible location in saigon, only a minute walk to the ben thanh market where you would find all sorts of goodies from local food and produce to affordable apparels. due to its central location, we did not have to take any cabs - all transport were done by foot! besides, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. breakfast is good but serving is a little small though. however, this is no big worry as you would be spoilt for choices once you step out of the hotel into the streets!

the room was very clean and the bed comfortable, however it was a little small - but that doesn't matter when you are sleeping there and going out in the day. the staff was very friendly and there were enough who spoke english quite well. we were able to walk to many places from the hotel and there were many places to eat good vietnamese meals nearby. we would stay here again without hesitation. there were just me (59 years) and my wife (61).
