We stayed for 8 nights and were happy with the street side suite. Clean enough room and good enough food for breakfast. The staff was helpful, but not as good seen in a 3, 4 or 5 star hotel. The room was quiet and so very close to the market. The night market is in front of the hotel entrance, which is good, but raining, the taxi only gets so close, thus leaving one soaked with no umbrella. Overall, I would stay there again, as I like quiet, clean enough and good enough, for a great price. RJ
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
See the MeKong delta area, so very nice.

A Pleasant Surprise in the midst of downtown Saigo
Best feature - LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION - right near the markets - close to everything

We picked this hotel from the Agoda website and weren't sure what to expect - But found it to be a GREAT value for the money. It's clean, nice, the staff was very professional, and while the room was nothing special, it had everything we needed (except perhaps an umbrella!) and suited our brief stay just fine.

Stay at Hoang Hai Long 2 was very happy with the good looking to the staf, all the people around are very friendly, nearest with shopping place as Ben Than & Night Market, nice food especially for Muslim and easy communication with the others.

It is very convenient for us to stay in this hotel. You can go most of the places by foot. And the hotel is very new. Breakfast is worthy of money. The staffs are very friendly to help us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking distance to Notre Dame Saigon,post office head quarter and water puppet theatre. Night market just with the hotel.

It is very convenient for us to stay in this hotel. You can go most of the places by foot. And the hotel is very new. Breakfast is worthy of money. The staffs are very friendly to help us.
But remember, some of the taxi drivers are very bad. We took a taxi from airport back to hotel, it should be about 8 kms, but the driver took us for about 25 kms, the triple of the normal price, we were very angry. And many people in this country can not understand English well, it is very different to communicate with them.

Brilliant location to all sights in HCMC. Hotel well priced, clean and staff very helpful. Right on the doorstep of the Ben T and night markets. Highly reccomend:)

As they Say Location, Location Location, you cant get more central then this... it was comfortable walking distance to EVERYTHING.

Well its a fairly cheap hotel and i think it deserves a extra star, just for where it is located, and if they cleaned up the bathrooms a bit better it would be worth a 4 star....
It was within a 20-30 minute walk to all the main tourist attractions, shopping centre etc....
The staff were all very friendly, very helpful, spoke basic english. free wi fi internet also, very handy, and the speed was good too......unlike some 4-5 star hotels ive stayed in...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bring good walking shoes, and this city comes to life at night....

Very close to Ben Thanh Market & other attractions. Clean & nice decor room. Friendly staff & overall good service.

A very new hotel (opened about 5 months ago). Room was very clean & has nice / warm decor. The air-conditioning is excellent and the complimentary wi-fi internet worked very well. The buffet breakfast was quite good and contained enough choices to suit various tastes. Staff overall was fairly friendly & helpful. Hotel is literally within reaching distance of Ben Thanh Market (less than 1 min walk) and also close to other attractions / shops etc... Probably the best hotel in comparison with others on the same street. Looking forward to going back to this hotel again due to its convenient location.

Excellent location to every sight in HMC. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well priced, clean rooms, stayed on the 6th floor, no resturant noise from above or street noise outside. Room had a window. You could look out on the streets. Night markets, great shopping. Found them cheaper than Ben T, day markets?? Prob depends on what you are shopping for. Highly reccomend this as a base hotel. Would stay again with no hesitation:)
