Our third stay in this excellent hotel

this is our third stay at this hotel, and we would definitely book to stay here again when we come back to saigon. it is in an excellent location, with the ben thanh market 150m from the front door and the night market directly outside the hotel! even so, you do not get noises from the street, even in the front rooms of the hotel. the hotel is new, and very well presented. the staff are very pleasant and helpful. we checked in at 5.30am on this occasion and they had our two rooms and breakfast made availbale to us ( for a half day charge which was great as we were exhausted after a terrible overnight train journey to saigon!)word of warning most rooms are a good size but a couple are very small, and some do not have windows) all have excellent air conditioning though!

The hotel is in a good location (the street outside becomes a market at night), is clean, quite comfortable and quiet at night. Our room hardly had a window, so if you like a view then this is not the hotel for you. However for the price the hotel was quite nice.

Great place, little bit noisy, but it is Saigon!
The staff were very nice and helpful. My friend and I booked one night on the 18th but we got our dates wrong and rocked up on the 17th to stay for two nights instead of one. They were most accommodating about this and gave us a nice twin room. The location is great too, with the main Saigon Market just down the road. The night market also sets up the same street as the hotel, which is a great place to grab trinkets and tshirts if you can't deal with the full catastrophe of the main market.

Really good clean, friendly hotel. The staff were nice and there was a good selection at breakfast. The only issue for us was it was a little loud with fairly thin walls with our next door neighbours showering and using hairdryers at 5am...

this is the best budget hotel i ever stay. i paid deluxe and they upgraded me to suite due to deluxe from was full. best service ever and breakfast is on the 9th floor. stunning view

must take VINASUN 38.27.27.27 TAXI the meter go slower.

Great hotel for a great price

after reading soooo many reviews on hotels in hcmc and feeling pretty disheartened, we were about to book something up around the us mark to make sure we had working showers and clean rooms. we then found this one which had a few bad reviews... we booked and hoped for the best. it was above and beyond what we expected!
the hotel is like any other expensive hotel, without the piano in the lobby. we booked the cheapest room for a night and the rooms were really clean and modern, the bathroom was spacious and there was a great shower. there was a safe in the room but the hotel kept hold of our room key when we left and our passports.
the breakfast is pretty much all local food which considering we were in vietnam, what do you expect!
for a night we had no window in the room but the rooms with windows were much bigger and had vies over the street.
the hotel is 30 seconds walk to the bin tang markets and the street out the front turns into a night market every night.
i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting hcmc.
Nightlife Tip:
Round the corner from the hotel is Bars Bar - If you are a whiskey drinker, (which I'm not!) they have amazing whiskey which I have been told is worth trying. The bar is awesome and has a great range of wines and cocktails and the staff are awesome!

Friendly hotel staffs who tried to communicate in english and making sure we understand.Beds are big but aircon could be improved, should use the standard aircon instead. Breakfast was very delicious.
Shopping Tip:
Walk around all areas and you will explore the beauty of ho chi minh, chendol is a must try in ben thahn market !

Good hotel with so-so staff

The room was good, but not great, with a large bed (two king singles pushed together I believe) and average bathroom. We were booked in for four nights, though we were moved to another hotel for the first two nights as the hotel had overbooked. The explanation given was far from helpful. When we moved back into the hotel the staff were not generally helpful. Location was good if you want to go to the Markets, though apart from that there was not much.

Be careful when crossing the road!
