Good location but small room

There are better 3 star hotels out there. Window looks out into a wall that's 2 feet away. Tight. I've been in 2 star hotels that were bigger than this one and with a view. Breakfast was OK.

we stayed in a deluxe room and requested for extra bed for an additional adult. room size is quite alright, although smaller than i expected. hotel is also smaller and older than what appears on the website. but overall, it is ok. the location is convenient and near the ban thanh market. breakfast spread is decent, although not very wide variety. best was the fruits and baguette. we also offer pho and some other items. service staffs are generally helpful and polite and understands english.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The War Remnants Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnel Tour is definitely worth a visit. Try Pho 2000 and a chain call Wrap and Roll, they are good, especially the Wrap & Roll (interesting food).

Nice hotel great location

hotel was in a good location only a short walk from the main tourist area. hotel staff all very nice and helpful, they struggled with english a little bit. but still ok. shower was not the best. breakfast was great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the cu chi/ cao dai temple 1 day tour - you will spend the majority of the time on the bus so make sure you get a good bus.
cu chi tunnels well worth it. cao dai maybe not so much.

Geat hotel as well as a great location
Good breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff and great rooms

this hotel is in an ideal location as it is within walking distance to most things including the markets, reunification palace, saigon central post office etc. rooms are a nice size and vey clean. overall a great place.
Nightlife Tip:
Close to the backpacker area where there are cheaper drinks and food.

Good location and friendly service

It's a money worthed hotel if you are looking for a good location in Ho Chi Minh City, especially in District 1. There are several good restaurant around the hotel. Ban Then Market, a good tourist spot is just walking distance from the hotel. Even shopping malls are not so far from the hotel too. You also can spend your time at the casino just opposite the hotel. However, the room doesn't look as big as it shown in the picture. Anyway, the staff here are friendly and always give you a smile.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a Beef Noodle restaurant if you walk to the right of the hotel. Their food is good!

Very reasonably priced, Clean rooms

during our stay at hoang hai long we found that the room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
the room service menu was excellent with lots of choice. i would definitely recommend the vietnamese hanoi style beef stew.
breakfast was very nice with a chef at hand to cook bacon, eggs, omelette's how you like them.
overall had a pleasant stay.

has everything you need for short stay
good location, tour desk, buffet breakfast, clean and tidy

the hotel is in very good walking distance to the markets and night walking street.
it was clean, safe and good location of a couple of days.
Restaurant Tip:
bbq garden. order your meat and cook your own dinner in the mini table/bbq.
