Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great location away from noise
Quiet alley location, friendly staff, internet access.

My family and I booked 3 rooms: Family, twin and twin with no window. We didn't get the 2 twin rooms,we got double beds instead. The room with no window had a stinky shower drain, so keep the bathroom door closed at all times!
Location is great: right next to the park, busy shopping streets and near the museums and Benh Market. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was located in a VERY QUIET ALLEY which resulted in great night's rest.
Ask for a taxi to be sent to you at pick-up, taxis in Vietnam are BIG TRAPS. Only trust MaiLinh, still it is better to pay a little extra for security because it was quite frightening at first to be dropped off on the street and led through a creepy alleyway by a stranger!

we really enjoyed this hotel for it quietness and central location to the market and the Main Street with all the fabulous restaurants. the best little fruit smoothie shop is just 10 meters from the hotel entrance, we would recommend this hotel and we plan on staying here again when we get back to Saigon in 3 months.

we always stay here
great location, fair prices, attentive staff, english spoken
8.3
we really like this small hotel, located right in the heart of the tourist area, but set back 100 yards from the main road, so not too noisy.
the only slight downside is that the included breakfast is somewhat limited, though perfectly edible.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely book a room with window if staying more than one night. These rooms are a little bigger and not so claustrophobic.

6 out of ten. hooray for mediocrity!
good location, cheap, clean.
6.3
asked specifically upon booking here at agoda for seperate beds. this of course did not happen. when we got to the hotel there was no effort to remedy this. i was told to "check my booking again"
woken at 5 in the morning by a family having a domestic dispute next to our room.
apart from these two things the hotel was clean, cheap and close to everything.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Type your special request in Vietnamese. If you can type it up in google translate and then copy and paste I think you will have a much easier time of it

Kind survice
The receiption speaks fluent English and provide kind survice
8.7
The survice is really good in this hotel, they will try their best to fix the any issue when we met. At first the Air-con wasn't working, but they try their best to push the mechanician and finally fixed it.
Nightlife Tip:
close to the night life area.

Best sleep in 3 weeks !!
comflortable bed/pillow! and quiet
9.7
we were a party of 8 and in our 3 weeks this was the most comfortable hotel in our entire stay. it is down a side alley so much quieter than anywhere else which is a huge plus. we felt safe the entire 4 night stay but were not out late. location great for access to everything we wanted to see and do. highly recommend. cannot remember the price we paid but it was worth event dong!!
we were pretty independent of the staff but they were always helpful if required.
Travel tip:
If you are a light sleep , take earplugs, only hotel I didn't need them for.

Nice survice with terrible environment
6.7
It was good while I was exploring on Agoda, and it was also good while I was checking in via the lovely receiption, but everything become bad when I see the room. The room is too old and bad smelling.
Restaurant Tip:
The outside environment is good, I can find good restaurants and bars easily.

very nice hotel with great location
location. friendly staff and good value.
8.3
Stayed there around 4 days ago with 2 of my friends. Location straight in main backpacker's area but like 50m in to the block so no street sound In the room. The staff was extremelly frendly and after check out could comfortably wait and take a shower until our night bus to phnom penh. The later you could easily book from the hotel.
On the downside the rooms were relativelly small and there were some ants crawling on the floor.

New, clean, nicely finished rooms, lovely staff
Very nice rooms, good breakfast, superhelpful staff

We stayed here for 3 nights, we had been travelling around Vietnam for almost 2 months and this might be one of the nicest places we stayed, especially if you consider the price. Our room had a window into a shaft but it was airy and clean and we didn't mind. The staff were superfriendly and helpful, my husband is always hungry after the usual Vietnamese breakfast of one egg, and they made him an extra omelet every morning, free of charge. They also helped us exchange money into dollars at no charge, and were generally very nice and accomodating. Also, the alley is quiet and it is a great retreat from the madness of the main Pham Ngu Lao strip.
Down the alley there is an old lady selling coffee out of her ground floor, get a coffee there in the morning for 10,000 vnd before facing the madness...
