Not a great location for tourists

The rooms were a good size and comfortable. The bar in the foyer has a singer in the evening which we found rather off putting. Maybe good if you are a buisness man alone but not conducive to chatter.
Breakfast served with a smile but sometimes also with Jazz as the piped music!!!
We had stayed in Saigon before so tried a different area. This was not as convenient to walk to restaurants and bars but taxis are cheap and convenient.
The pool is lovely and the spa facilities a delight.
Free use of computers in lobby but Wifi is extra for your own computer.
Restaurant Tip:
We spent New Years Eve in The Irish Pub "Sheridans" Very unprepossessing but the food and service was excellent.

this was our second stay at the hotel equatorial ho chi minh and the hotel and the staff on the club floor did not disappoint. they still remembered us from our last visit in april. they had our second room setup with an extra bed as requested. check in was quick as usual and because we had to checkout early for our flight to hanoi, they made arrangements for us to checkout the night before. the breakfast was very good made by the personal chef on the floor and the evenin drinks and light snacks were always excellent especially after a long day of sightseeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
most of the major sightseeing attractions inside ho chi minh city is located within walking distance of each other. instead of paying for an expensive full day tour, i would recommend taking a taxi to the reunification palace and then walk to other sites. also if walking is not your thing, vinasun taxi a pretty reliable in taking you to the locations you want to go without charging you an arm and a leg.

I had a nice stay at that night. The hotel offers some services like swimming pool, spa. There are some kind of resturants, including Chinese Western and Vietnamese. At that day, eve of X'mas, the hotel provided a little gift packed with a red X'mas sock. So sweet.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a swimming pool. Suggest taking a swimming suit.

Very comfortable rooms

I have stayed in this hotel for at least three times. My choice of this hotel was mainly due to the comfort of the rooms and their tasteful interior, its facilities (a pool of a reasonably good size and depth), and the standard of its F & B. It is a peaceful hotel although it has a tourist crowd. Its laundry is reasonably priced and access to the internet is free.
The only setback is that one has to take note of the shuttle-bus services (boarding and pick-up time and specific place) when travelling by taxi is not a choice. Small eateries are also not within proximity.
Restaurant Tip:
The lunch and breakfast buffets offer an excellent variety; their qualities are good as well. International newspaper such as the Nikkei Shimbun and Chinese papers are available. Internet access is excellent. The gym and spa are also satisfactory.

As I wrote a good location, about 30-45 mim to airport depending on the traffic, 15-20 min to the district 1, nice service excellent buffet, friendly staff, large swimmingpool and well equiped gym, rooms clean,one time in the late afternoon they ask,if you need coffee or water more or fresh towels. The price for this hotel is absolut worth to its intern and extern condition and all the service around I have been about 30 nights there and have been always very satiesfied.

OK, out of the way but good break fro hectic city!

stayed for 2nights as a stop to counter jet lag and see a bit of hcmc. arrived early and was told hotel policy was to charge $50 for early check in fee, or could upgrade to vip room for $58 per night. declined both and were given keys to room anyway! pool was great for combatting jet lag, and humidity, rooms were ok for the star rating. there is a free shuttle bus every 2 hours to the city centre, which was great, cab ride back no more than €3. didnt have breakfast at hotel so can't comment, it's an extra €18 pp if you haven't got it included in your booking fee, we popped to a cafe round the corner and ate like kings for €1.50! overall it was a nice hotel, but if we stayed again would chose somewhere more central.

we had such a wonderful stay here. it's a great location, only ten minutes in a cab to the center, never more than vnd in a cab.
i stayed here twice, both times the rooms were wonderful. we got a pool side room and had amazing sunshine and fabulous service. the gym and spa are lovely too.
the staff were incredibly helpful, really couldn't have been any better (the poolside drinks and food is quite expensive but restaurants on the doorstop of hotel are great and very reasonable).
