Very nice hotel, location is great.
The hotel staff vas very helpful and all the customers were even invited by the hotel to a buffet dinner to celebrate the lunar new year.
Rooms directly on Dong Khoi street are a bit noisy because of the traffic.
I highly recommend this place it's a great value for money.

i found this to be too old and not really keeping up with every other hotel in the area.
i couldn't have my friend visit my room.
very old the rooms were noisy even i was away from the road.
the buffet breakfast was good though.
internet was horrible.
my room had a strange smell coming from the bathroom only after i showered.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
close to the centre of the city.

Excellent hotel
Very large corner room with a large balcony on the fifth floor. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Loved the roof top pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our corner 5th floor room was very spacious with a large balcony over-looking all the beautiful street Tet New Year decorations. Our room was ready for us after a very long flight from Canada. The roof-top pool was relaxing after a day of walking around HCM. The buffet breakfast was delicious with both western and asian choices. I highly recommend this hotel. Great price too.

this hotel is in the shopping area of ho chi minh and within walking distance of all mature sightseeing atractions. lots of restuarants and spa's nearby as well. the hotel room was clean and the staff is helpful. only bad thing was that they had a karaoke party in the restaurant with a lot of people singing off key. also very noisy road and we could hear the people in the room next to us cough.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
cuchi tunnels is a must and the war museum. bbq garden is a nice place to eat with a group. good cocktails at rex hotel.

this hotel has the perfect location for exploring the shopping and nightlife area of district 1´s dong khoi street. everything is within walking distance and there are tons of tourist shops, bars and restaurants right outside the door. if you want silence when you sleep ask for a room facing away from the street. the staff is super friendly and read the requests you make on agoda, unlike many other hotels.
Shopping Tip:
Don´t miss the Cincinatti bag shops next door to the hotel, a tiny shop, with very nice bags and reasonable prices. I left with three bags last time I visited.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room itself was a good size. The pool was great in the hot weather. The location was really good, walking distance to everything needed. There was a large variety for breakfast which was really nice. I would recommend this hotel.

good mid range hotel in the most central of locations.nice large rooms, good breakfast, good facilities in general. had read reviews complaining about noise level from traffic on the road, but it didn't bother me at all. i was on the 4th floor, so maybe that accounts for my good experience. only complaint was no wi fi working. there was a cable to a local area connection, so that was ok for laptop. but no good for kindle or smart phone.

the superior rooms are not that nice. i recommend you get the next level up. i saw these rooms and they had a nice view and a balcony and were bigger. the superior rooms however had no view and were very small.
the gym was very small with only a few pieces of old equipment. the spa - sauna, jacuzzi etc. had a separate charge. also be careful of their services.
