Highly recommended
Excellent Service, good location, good facilities
Very very good. The service was great. Hotel staff and especially management were exceptional. Assisted in all facets- especially when i got robbed (exceptional in their assistance). Hotel was located well and room we got was great. Will certainly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again. Very good value for money. Cannot speak more highly of the great service and well maintained ambience of the hotel. Great.

great hotel in a quieter part of town
central location close to all attractions, great staff and comfortable rooms
We enjoyed our stay at the Hong Sen. The staff were friendly . The rooms were spotless and provided every comforts. Television had cable with many English stations. Breakfast was exceptional! We loved the location it was at the quieter end of town but still walking distance to all the attractions. The room at night was quiet you could not hear any road noise. The rooftop bar was lovely. We would stay here again.

Wonderful as usual
clean, wonderful staff, and location.
We stayed here before and we returned for the second stay. We will come back to this place when we come to Saigon again. The place was clean, wonderful staff, and great location. The price is great!

Good hotel, good location, punishingly hard beds
Good location, helpful staff and nice rooftop pool/bar
I liked this hotel. We had two rooms, a superior and a deluxe. If I had my choice again I would pay the extra for the rooms with a front balconey, as the deluxe had only a small rear facing balconey overlooking alleys and rooftops. The hotel facilities were all good except for the firmness of the beds. I don't mind a firm bed, and all of the hotels we stayed in in Vietnam had beds that were pretty hard, but this hotel took the firmness to another level. My wife described the mattress as "brutal". For the rest of the holiday we joked that the wooden bench at a train station or crammed into economy seats on budget airlines might be uncomfortable, but they were nothing like the beds at the Huong Sen. That said, I would stay here again and enjoyed my visit very much, but if you would find a rock hard bed unlivable, you should look elsewhere.

Clean rooms and friendly staff
Location, staff and price
It was very close to the main sights for the old Saigon walk and it had a lot of restaurants near by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged for a car to pick us up from the hotel, which was a bit pricey, but they hung around as the flight was delayed.

Large room with attentive and polite service
Great service, 50 square meter room w balcony and clean bathroom with well maintained facilities
Almost perfect! There wasn't much to complain about just that the hotel breakfast food was dry n inconsistent-however this was compensated with very friendly and attentive hotel staff who always make eye contact and are helpful-wifi was available but slow during peak periods

great value for money and location
location, rooms and staff
it was great. We did not intend to stay in the rooms for long but it was raining and we could not go out much of the time. However, staying in the hotel was comfortable. The only thing is the swimming pool open time is very limited.

Nice quiet hotel at the good end of town.
Great staff, clean hotel, pool and rooftop restaurant.
Great stay, the staff were friendly, helpful and all the ones I encountered communicated well in English. The hotel and rooms were clean and quiet, which is a great relief after being in the city streets. The pool is small, but very well maintained and a great way to cool off at the end of the day. The hotel is at the nicer end of Ho Chi Minh city, so good for upmarket shopping, but a bit of a walk to the Ben Tanh market or the backpacker district. Good for seeing the Rex Hotel rooftop restaurant, the Cathedral and the post office etc. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
