Old fashioned but comfortable

welcomed warmly and were accomodated when we asked to have a room with a balcony. the room was a little old fashioned but it had the necessities and was comfortable. reception staff were very assistive with organising a day tour which included the hotel car and a safe driver. considering it's location it wasn't too noisy. breakfast catered for all cultures and was tasty.

The soft shell crab and lemon grass tofu are to die for and not too expensive

front rooms are very noisy, because of heavy traffic starting around 5am. otherwise i would recommend the hotel and will book it again when returning to hcmc.

reliable hotel, i've stayed there a number of times and always found it clean, comfortable, quiet and value for money. not the newest on the block, but the benefit is larger rooms than typical in newer mini hotels and quieter. will use again.
Nightlife Tip:
if you're in hcm on the evening of 15th or 23rd of the month, try hon viet, a new cultural show at the saigon opera house nearby. features live traditional music and singing and some impressive dance. ticket prices are very good value (from opera house box office) and opportunity to see inside this iconic building.

Reliable, comfortable hotel in great location

i was returning after a previous visit. i asked for a quiet room and was initialy put in a rear room on 5th floor. quiet it was, but the room had a few problems: the aircon was too weak for the size of room and number of poor fitting windows. the wifi on this floor didn't work. the bathroom tap only offered hot water at a trickle. i was disappointed compared to previous visits. reception staff were very helpful and happy to move me as soon as i asked however. the replacement room and their speed to help was up to this hotel's usual standard and why i still recommend it.
Nightlife Tip:
A cultural show called Hon Viet is on at the Saigon Opera House on 15th and 23rd each month. It includes a mix of traditional Vietnamese music, dance, folk tales and history and a great chance to visit this iconic building. The performance lasted just over an hour. It was entertaining and very good value for money - recommended.

We very enjoy staying in this hotel.
The breakfast is ok but most of the food are the same,
so if stay too many days it will abit boring.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Recomend to use taxi Vinasun or Mai Linh Taxi Company.
Watch out for taxi touts who also dress in White shirt uniforms. They will told you by meter but be prepared when arrive he will ask for the price to 3,000,000 dong. Ignore them, and stick to the metered taxis.
My advised for those new traveller the taxi meter figures x 1000 (eg. meter show 1109.0 x 1000 = VDN 1,109.000 ) so only need to pay taxi driver VDN1200.00.

reliable hotel, always clean and comfortable. large bathroom. remembered me from my previous visit 3-4 months before which shows they care about their customers. good buffet breakfast, couple of bottles water provided each day. good location.
Nightlife Tip:
Unfortunately, you will be pestered by sleavy pimps offering massages, young girls (or boys) around this district after dark. Its a shame Vietnam is becoming like this. None of this is apparent at the hotel however.

Centtered place, but also noisy -traffic in early morning (but isolation of some rooms against the traffic main road)
Friendly reception and door men staff. large breakfast variety.

good place to stay in the Zone 1 Center for sight seeings.
Excellent restaurants, cafe houses, night bars in walking distance.
