The room was not available for us so we had to wait until midnight to get our bed. Not very nice after a late flight and having to get up early in the morning for a tour.

We often stay at the Kim during our frequent weekend trips to Saigon. We like the location - in the heart of the backpacker district, but off the main drag so it's quieter than many places. The roof terrace is a boon to escape the heat of the city. The rooms are clean and spacious (we only ever book the larger rooms with a balcony) and the staff are always friendly.

We checked in very early after getting in to Ho Chi Minh off the night sleeper train from Nha Trang, and although our room wasnt ready, the staff allowed us to use another room to shower in and leave our bags. At all times staff were friendly and helpful,spoke OK english, and the room was clean and airy on the top floor.
