The best value 4 money in Central HCMC
It is a new hotel and all the rooms are new. they don't all have big windows but at least they have a windows. I will stay here again.

We go to Saigon about once a month and have been looking for a good hotel with central location that dosen't cost a arm and leg. We'll always stay at the King Star. A friend recomended this hotel. The only thing we found to be lacking is they don't keep the breakfast hot in the mornings. I think the food it's self is OK. Next time I stay I'll speak to them about. Great Place.

The hotels's proximity to the historical buildings such as the opera, Reunification palace, Post Office and even the central market contributed to a very relaxed break.It was easy to access good restaurants (all cuisines), bars, cafes and shops. We were able to enjoy the ambience of the Halloween party outside the opera as well as the buzzing atmosphere of the streets around there. The non availability of tea and coffee facilities in the room was remedied by the very obliging staff who provided kettle and cups. We had had many warnings of the traffic chaos but found it much easier to nagivate (cross) the streets of District 1 compared to those of Old Hanoi
Shopping Tip:
Take time to visit the Central Post Office and the souvenir shops in there.

This hotel is located in between Dong Khoi and Le Thanh Ton area. Very convenient. Room is value for money but breakfast is not so nice.

I like to stay here because the hotel looks clean, neat, and good. It is located on a quiet street but very close to the city center.
I stayed here only for 1 night in July 2012. You can choose your own breakfast. They give you several options such as: Pho, sandwiches, or bacon and eggs.
The owner seems have the sense of green awareness as when nobody in the aisle of each floor, then the electricity goes off automatically. And vice versa.
Overall, it was a good stay. No complaint.

You would be hard pressed to find a better place than this for the money. The hotel appears to have opened recently, as everything in the room seemed new and fresh. The bathroom was big, and had a wonderful, huge bath tub, great for soaking in after a day of walking around steamy HCMC. The room itself was of adequate size with AC, wifi, a large flat screen TV, security box, and spare but modern decor. Free breakfast was good. The location is very good, as many tourists attractions are close by. The staff was excellent, offering smiles and information about getting around the city. Unfortunately, I fell ill for a couple of days while in HCMC, but the staff helped me to find care, and treated me with great compassion. I will not forget the kindness of Wendy, Loc, and Dan. I highly recommend this hotel.

the king star hotel is one on the many 3 stars hotels in the center of ho chi minh city. nothing much to differentiate this hotel from the many other similar ones in the streets around. the location is great, rooms are all new and convenient. breakfast is rather limited. not anything in it is memorable, but if you look for a simple efficient small hotel in the center, it is ok.

the reception speak well english & accommodative. the hotel is in my list of choice for my returns.
