The hotel is located at the outskirts of the city centre, which is nearer to district 2. Decently convenient. Food for breakfast was simple, and expected for the price paid. Wifi was good, unlike the other hotels i stayed in. They also have Lan Lan 2, which is the newer branch i guess, and looks more decent. Staff were friendly too.

Well presented hotel with very obliging staff.
Room very spacious and clean. Breakfast was more than adequate with a different dish introduced each day.

We recommend this hotel to all who require accommodation in District One as it is close to some great restaurants and shopping.

Great Service, Clean and Comfortable
Service, Clean Rooms, Good Location

We stayed at the Lan Lan after being given the run around from the Ava Saigon hotel a few doors down which we originally booked. The Ava tried to play games by giving us a smaller room and then trying to move us to their "sister" hotel. This is common in Saigon, but if you book through Agoda just call them and they can help.
Lan Lan was great, a few minutes to the major attractions, nice sized rooms that were very clean and quiet.
Travel tip:
Ask for a room on a higher floor, less street noise. Do not even consider staying at the Ava Saigon Hotel. The place is a dump and they try to take advantage of unsuspecting travelers.

Nice clean rooms and great location (close to markets, museum and palace). Staff friendly and helpful, although did try to recharge us for nights we had already paid, mistake in the paperwork I guess. Helpful booking tours. Breakfast is average, but the chef makes amazing lunch and dinner meals, cheap too!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to main attractions

The location is convenient for sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh city. The breakfast is also good. The service could be improved, but it was okay overall.

Lovely Boutique Hotel in Fantastic Location
Staff, Location, Strong Wifi, New Hotel
9.3
Lan Lan 1 is 5 min walking distance from Ben Thanh Market, Reunification Palace and 10 mins to War Remnants museum. The hotel feels new and rooms are not flashy but comfortable. Staff is friendly and will organize any tour you like. Only downside is breakfast - stick with the Pho here. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Buy some dragon fruit or mangosteen from Ben Thanh market
