Really good bang for your buck
Very comfortable rooms with nice decorations, the location within easy reach of both a big market and of the War Museum, and thridly the price.

We arrived very early, at 10 AM and were still allowed to check in. Great after a long, noisy overnight train ride! We were also pleasnetly surprised that they offered a buffet breakfast (although not anywhere near topnotch, definitely ok). The Hotel was new and really clean, and could easily have passed for a three star hotel in Europe, with the exception of the breakfast.

Its a nice hotel to stay with friendly staff. The rooms are clean with a nice bed. Near to Ben Thanh Market and near to Muslim restaurant. Easy to get halal food for muslim. Worth for money.

It was such a fantastic choice, to be honest we chose a different destination prior and this hotel was a last minute recommendation which turned out to be true. As soon as we stepped into the hotel lobby it was so nice and clean, we were greeted by the hotel staff and they helped us with our luggage from start to finish. We had a hotel room with no windows but it was more appropriate as the outside weather as so warm the room cooled up quickly with the air-con turned on full blast. The rooms were clean, everyday we would get our room cleaned and made up and the lady did such a great job it felt new and clean every time. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to all our friends and family. I give this hotel 10/10.

We really enjoyed our time here. Front reception staff on arrival do not give a great impression but after that, restraunt staff and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. Food was great and the location is excellent. Across the street is Yellow Orange Travel agency where the girls were extremely helpful. They arranged taxi to airport which saved us a lot of money. Close to museums and markets. Early morning you hear singing from the school. (6.30) It didnt bother us but some people may get irritated.

This is the 5th time I have stayed at the Lan Lan 2 Hotel, which is well run, friendly and helpful staff, fine buffet breakfasts, good internet and cable tv connections, and a perfect location in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, right near the Ben Than Market. On my next trip to Saigon, I will stay at the Lan Lan 2 Hotel.
