Best view of Saigon river. Great services by proficient staff. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Sumptuous breakfast buffet but otherwise food can be improved at the Chinese restaurant. I would rank this hotel among the top of five star rating hotels in HCMC. Love the pool and great praise to the entire hotel staff. See you again on my next visit.

The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and shopping. We walked everywhere, but the hotel also has a free shuttle service in case you don't feel like walking. The breakfast was fantastic and the buffet dinner was one of the best meals we have had, pricey for Vietnam standards but well worth it. The staff were extremely attentive and helpfull. The pool was a welcome relieve from the heat in the afternoons.

Not beign a regular five star type person I found the place fantastic and great value for money. Could'nt really find any poor aspect to the hotel, but the cost of tours were very expensive. Withtin twenty minutes fo the airport and smack in the middle of the down town area, the legend hotle is in a great location on the river. The staff were exptremely helpful and the breakfast buffet was of a good standard. Wifi internet in the rooms was quick and efficient as was the maid service. Overall a great hotel.
Travel tip : Don't bother with taxi's, cyclos or any other form of transport when leavign the hotel to sight see Saigon. Most major sights are within walking distance.

Room is clean and comfortable; staffs are friendly, free internet connection in the room Air-conditional became warm in the middle of the night We are enjoyed our stay at the hotel. They have a clean swimming pool, and provide towel beside the pool. Complimentary fruits in the room every day and outside of the lift. Complete toiletry even the razor. It would be nice if hotel provide free transport from hotel to airport.

Well maintained, very spacious room with free usage of broadband internet. Very courteous and helpful staff. First time staying in this hotel, though not very conveniently located but is within easy walking distance to the main shopping and eating places. Nice room, good spread of food and very courteous staff. Will go back and stay in this hotel in my next visit.
Travel tip : If you are a Japanese food enthusiast, there are many Japanese restaurants and bar closeby.

Helpful staff Communication with customers as language is a barrier Staff at The legend hotel are curtious and genuinely want to help and provide best service, the rooms are decorated to a high standard and very clean, rooms are very spacious and some give you a beautiful view over looking the Saigon river and parts of the city, Hotel also has a swimming pool which gives you the opportunity to cool down after a days tour in the city, hotel also has a complimentary shuttle, breakfast is of good quality, very extensive and plentiful, i would highly recommend this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : The Mandarine restaurant nearby has very good quality food, bit pricy compared to rest but good service.

Very good riverside view from the room. The staff is very attentive. And the room is very relaxing with a good riverside view. breakfast buffet was excellent, especially Vietnamese food.

Great pool and garden, amazing breakfast with over 30 kinds of bakery goods, baked ham, pates and terrines, made to order french toast, waffles, omlettes, genuine and professional staff Absolutely nothing. This is a great hotel. This hotel is in the tradition of grand hotels: lots of marble,gold, high empire style. Not usually my style but so well maintained and gleaming I felt like I was in another world. They gave us complimentary late checkout until 8 PM and all staff from doormen to housekeeping were amazing. This is our first hassle free vacation in a long time. This hotel is the best value in Ho Chi Minh!!!!!! And no street noise ans calm flower-filled garden
Restaurant Tip : Go to 3 Mien, 10 minutes by cab. Three cuisine restaurant:Hue,Saigon and Hanoi. Old antique-filled house. Dinner for two with drinks-$15.

Breakfast - A wide array of breakfast that caters to all tastebuds. The loan of the Umbrella throughout the entire stay was something which helped to weather the storm. There was a kind of odd smell that was lingering in the lobby. Perhaps it is time to have something not so pungent. This is definitely a well located hotel that is within walking distance of the major tourist shopping belt. Though it will be good if the hotel was to provide a shuttle bus service that caters to the nearby area. The ability of wifi in the room was a welcome to search for places to go via my iphone, directions on where to go for the best local food - pho was the constant word used throughout and to upload photos taken during the trip.

Extravagant Breakfast buffet By a busy street with a lot of traffic, but this is Ho Chi Minh City An excellent hotel, where the staff is very attentive and extremely customer friendly. Ihad an issue with the Wifi in a room, they have a contract with a tech firm, and had someone come to the hotel at 9:30pm. The pool are and SPA are very nice and inviting, not overly done. The restaurants are all quite nice and for restaurants priced well. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a spread of a variety of foods - western, japanese, vietnamese etc. Excellent value.
Restaurant Tip : Looking for reasonably priced and excellent vietnames food, go to the NGON, which is a 10 minute taxi ride from the hotel. You can waltk to it.

Great buffet breakfast.
Convenient location.
Good views.
Very comfortable beds. Anyway, I recommend you to try its buffet breakfast. It has much enough selections, including Vietnamese, Japanese, and Western.
I choose its Pho noodles the best in town.
And Its beds are very comfortable for you to have your great sleep.
You can enjoy a walk along the Saigon river very close to the hotel.
The hotel is a Must.
Restaurant Tip : The Sushi Bar and Wine is very close to the hotel.

great breakfast buffet, nice rooms, helpful staff only a little far from the city centre but not that bad. Could use more seating around pool. Stayed here March 21st through March 23rd, 2009. Hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with so many dishes. Staff was very good, room was very nice-ours overlooked the river. Pool area was nice but wished there was more seating, we had to wait to find a chair. A solid 4* hotel.

5 star hotel comfort and staff. Food. Location. Gym.
In the japanese/korean part of Saigon and the center of the city.
Good hotel with incredible breakfast buffet (international, japanese, vietnamese food). On the downside though, as usual, the soups really don't reach the quality level of specialized restaurants (japanese or vietnamese), some french cheese really good, other just average (camembert was substandard). One of the japanese hotel managers took time to ask for my input during breakfast. Room service was quick and good. The fitness room is one of the biggest I've seen in a hotel, as it's also a small gym for rich enough locals. The kids playroom seems huge.
Rooms are large, nice and clean, though the carpets in our two rooms could be renewed. Local calls are cheap (or maybe free, don't remember for sure), which is normal but not all hotels do it.
Hotel Feature Tip : Also a place for local business conferences.
