The hotel is in District 1 next to the consulates. Beautiful hotel!

A bit noisy if the room is fronting the road.

The front desk officers were nice and speak decent English. I was received very well. They knew their job very well. The room I had was big enough for two people. There were fruits everyday in my room. The room was very clean. Ample toiletries were provided. On the day of my departure, they bade me farewell warmly which made me think of coming back.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Notre Dame Cathedral is just a 9-minute walk from the hotel. It is where the French District is. Diamond Shopping Mall is just behind the cathedral. From the cathedral, the biggest market BEN THANH, is just 12 minutes walking distance. Goods/Items are much much cheaper outside the market.

great meals there , good service, very nice staff

did not see any

I was treated with kindness and respect from the very first moment I walked into the door and while I was here. The food is terrific here and very well priced. The free breakfast buffet in the morning is the best I have ever to been to, anywhere in the world. The hotel is very clean and house keeping keeps you room very clean and they are very attentive to your needs.

Hotel Feature Tip : clean and good food

Service.

None

The Liberty 1 Saigon Hotel offers a nice stay downtown Saigon, at reasonable rate. Service is excellent, rooms are spacious and clean. Nice breakfast. Location is centrally located in Saigon, close to things to see, shopping and nice places to eat. Value for money, highly recommended. On the downside, a little far from the international airport for those who need to get there early in the morning.

Clean but small.

Very noisy street side rooms, with disco reverberating at night, that will make it hard to sleep.

This hotel is located close to nothing. We had to walk or use a taxi for trips to restaurants, markets or places of interest. People should be warned of sub standard food in it's own restaurant, that was served at a temperature that was very unsafe. Hot food was lukewarm, and so was the cold food. We only ate at the evening buffet, but we decided to eat at another restaurant after this experience. The rooms were small but clean.

Restaurant Tip : Do not eat at this hotel. Buffet served at unsafe temperature.

Great staff, good location close to shopping, historical sites and within walking distance for most to District 1 nightlife. Internet on site and breakfast is serviceable.

1st floor and street front rooms are loud from approx. 5am due to traffic and the incessant HoChiMinh horns so bring ear plugs just in case.

A fine mid level hotel in HoChiMinh. You can search high and low in this price range and you will be very hard pressed to find better accommodations. The front desk staff and security personnel are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Restaurant Tip : Great restaurant diagonally across the street from hotel. ATM across the street half block away in Gas Station on corner. Latin Cafe good place to chill.

Close to centre of the city, palace, markets and museums.

The hotel is not in a good location for nightlife and eating out. All very expensive places to eat.

The hotel is old and interior is old. The rooms are ok, food ok, however the hotel is not well located if you want to be where the action is. The wrong part of the city, no nightlife or cheap eating places, the area lacks atmosphere. If you wanted a quiet stay then this would be the place to stay. The staff were good and pleasant to deal with. Everything is quite expensive at this end of town, I should booked in a tourist location.

Comfortable bed (hard to find in SE Asia), A/C worked well, clean room

The club on the bottom floor...you can hear it til early in the morning if you on a floor lower than 5.

This hotel overall was a great value for the money. It was conveniently located to all the major tourist attractions and close to several dining places. The room was clean and nice for the money. It is much cheaper on Agoda than if you booked straight through the hotel or walked in off the street. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Ho Chi Minh City.

All smile and hospitable persons in hotel

Music noise from basement disco in mid night

Sea of motorcycle, Ho Chi Minh is amazing city and hotel is located center part of city where we can access everywhere by walk and taxi. All hotel employees, including guarde persons, are smile and kind. We could enjoy a kind of Viet Nam culture.

The staff was very professional, friendly, helpful and informative. The room was servicable and clean and stocked with the normal amenities. The hotel is good value.

The room was located just above a disco that was open late. It was quite loud and there was no alternate room available. Be sure to request an upper level room away from the disco. The hotel needs better soundproofing for this.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk of major shops and restaurants. The hotel is serviceable for business people and tourists alike with a business center and free wireless Internet access, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and polite service. The ground floor disco is open to about midnight, so early sleepers should request an upper floor room away from the disco to avoid the monotonous beat of the disco music. The hotel could use some updating, but overall it is a modest, clean and comfortable place and good value, especially if you book in advance through Agoda.

Restaurant Tip : A good sushi restaurant can be found on the same street within a 5 minute taxi ride.

Friendly Staff, great service, walking distance to main tourist places, clean. Excellent breakfast in hotel dining room.

Dinner in hotel dining room slightly more expensive than expected - but good. Had massage advertised by hotel but I did not realise I had to tip masseuse.

Our first time to Saigon and this hotel was a great way to start. Stayed her 3 nights and staff were very helpful during whole stay. Loved the staff member opening up room and putting slippers by bed when we arrived. Fresh fruit in room every day was a bonus for us. We walked to all the main tourist spots from her. Middle of the range price but worth it. I would recommend this hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't sit on any monuments - I sat on one (unknowingly)to fix camera, and was asked to move on.

clean, good service, fair breakfast

a little far from the centre of town.

I traveled with three others and we all enjoyed out stay at Liberty 1. Whilst it was a little far from the centre of town, the walk took us past a great ice-cream shop! The cost of a taxi ride into the centre is very cheap. The rooms were comfortable and clean (we all had a deluxe room) and the staff booked our tours for us through Sinh Cafe, which saved us time and effort. Us girls visited the massage centre connected with the hotel but we weren't happy with the service we received there. We were hassled to tip more but we felt that the massages weren't worth the price. It was a very uncomfortable situation for us.
