Most staffs are friendly, food is good.

No mini bar. Only small refrigerator. Contrary to hotel internet ads, there is no tea and coffee making facilities. Restaurant is close after 10pm. We were wondering why the hotel restaurant is not serving ice-cold water and we should pay if we want one. Unlike with experiences in the past with other hotels in other countries, since we didn't request for an early check-in, we were only allowed to stay up to 2pm (we booked 2 rooms for 6 persons).

When we entered the room, I immediately looked for the kettle so we could have some tea or coffee since it was already around 2am (flight arrival was 12:30am). When can't find one, I called up the front desk and was answered : Not allowed inside the room. But they could provide a glass of hot water if we want to.

Great service, helpful staff

Noisy street

The room was quite noisy in the evening due to traffic on the street. However, the staff offered to get me another room where the windows were away from the street, which was a plus point with regards to the hotel service. The interior of the room was rather old but the room was big for single occupancy. The service of the hotel staff was good.

Kind Staff. Very nice breakfast buffet at this rebel of hotel.

Noisy and smell of exhaust gas.

Already read Review before visit so I requested High Floor & behind of Bldg (not face to main Street). However still nosy and smelly of exhaust gas because window do not shut perfectly. no problem for other points. Good breakfast buffet for this level of hotel that I surprised.

Superb hospitality.

Not much of attraction near by the hotel. TV should have more channels.

I am very impressed with the hospitality at the hotel. I think the manner is so far the best compare to any hotel that i have stayed including the 5 stars hotel. All the staff speak good english, so there wasn't any communication problem.

Travel tip : Because most of the people don't speak english so it's better to ask the information at the front desk so they can help. If you charter a car ask for the english speaking driver.

Clean,

None, really. A bit noisy, but it's in the middle of a very large city, so... The noise did not at all inhibit sleep. We'll visit again.

Clean and comfortable. Restaurant very good, complimentary breakfast consistent. But the biggest plus is the service. Staff responds quickly and efficiently to requests for everything from laundry to getting a taxi at the curb. Lanugage was never a problem. Money exchanges at the reception desk were easy and at a good rate. We were very pleased.

The hotel is in District 1 next to the consulates. Beautiful hotel!

A bit noisy if the room is fronting the road.

The front desk officers were nice and speak decent English. I was received very well. They knew their job very well. The room I had was big enough for two people. There were fruits everyday in my room. The room was very clean. Ample toiletries were provided. On the day of my departure, they bade me farewell warmly which made me think of coming back.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Notre Dame Cathedral is just a 9-minute walk from the hotel. It is where the French District is. Diamond Shopping Mall is just behind the cathedral. From the cathedral, the biggest market BEN THANH, is just 12 minutes walking distance. Goods/Items are much much cheaper outside the market.

great meals there , good service, very nice staff

did not see any

I was treated with kindness and respect from the very first moment I walked into the door and while I was here. The food is terrific here and very well priced. The free breakfast buffet in the morning is the best I have ever to been to, anywhere in the world. The hotel is very clean and house keeping keeps you room very clean and they are very attentive to your needs.

Hotel Feature Tip : clean and good food

Service.

None

The Liberty 1 Saigon Hotel offers a nice stay downtown Saigon, at reasonable rate. Service is excellent, rooms are spacious and clean. Nice breakfast. Location is centrally located in Saigon, close to things to see, shopping and nice places to eat. Value for money, highly recommended. On the downside, a little far from the international airport for those who need to get there early in the morning.

Clean but small.

Very noisy street side rooms, with disco reverberating at night, that will make it hard to sleep.

This hotel is located close to nothing. We had to walk or use a taxi for trips to restaurants, markets or places of interest. People should be warned of sub standard food in it's own restaurant, that was served at a temperature that was very unsafe. Hot food was lukewarm, and so was the cold food. We only ate at the evening buffet, but we decided to eat at another restaurant after this experience. The rooms were small but clean.

Restaurant Tip : Do not eat at this hotel. Buffet served at unsafe temperature.

Great staff, good location close to shopping, historical sites and within walking distance for most to District 1 nightlife. Internet on site and breakfast is serviceable.

1st floor and street front rooms are loud from approx. 5am due to traffic and the incessant HoChiMinh horns so bring ear plugs just in case.

A fine mid level hotel in HoChiMinh. You can search high and low in this price range and you will be very hard pressed to find better accommodations. The front desk staff and security personnel are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Restaurant Tip : Great restaurant diagonally across the street from hotel. ATM across the street half block away in Gas Station on corner. Latin Cafe good place to chill.

Close to centre of the city, palace, markets and museums.

The hotel is not in a good location for nightlife and eating out. All very expensive places to eat.

The hotel is old and interior is old. The rooms are ok, food ok, however the hotel is not well located if you want to be where the action is. The wrong part of the city, no nightlife or cheap eating places, the area lacks atmosphere. If you wanted a quiet stay then this would be the place to stay. The staff were good and pleasant to deal with. Everything is quite expensive at this end of town, I should booked in a tourist location.
