5.Great porridge for braekfast 1. deposit safe in room not functioning and the staff don't seems to know how to fix it. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Ben Thant market and the Saigon Square shopping mall. The hotel serves very good porridge and I ate it for 3 straight mornings. For Chinese guest, especially for the Teochews, this is the best porridge. There is a very good foot massgae just a few doors away. You could just walk over in your hotel room slippers.
Shopping Tip : When shopping at Ben Thant market, try to bargain down 50% of the price and you can usually get it at a 30 to 40% discount as the offered price is usually very high. It is fun bargaining with the pretty salesgirls ! At the Saigon Square, the prices offered are more reasonable so at the most, you get a VND20,000 to VND30,000 discount.

Staff and service were superb! Location is perfect! Rooms were huge! Hotel was undergoing renovations. Overall, it was worth the money staying at liberty 2 hotel. Service was excellent! The location was superb! Walking distance to everywhere in District 1. Free internet (2 computers), free wifi in the rooms, well stocked minibar, huge rooms, great view from the restaurant on the 10th floor during breakfast. Our room was on the 8th floor, and it was not noisy at all. It helped that there was a COLD BEER place a few doors down, with a great selection of local and imported beers, and they were COLD. Great to spend the last hours of the night, watching the people and traffic pass you by.

great views from the balcony rooms, excellent location and friendly staff excellent value for what it offers. location is great and a nice view of the busy roundabout in front of the ben thanh markets from the rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served.
