this hotel has clean rooms and super attentive staff! the location is perfect, very close to main spots, and thirty minutes by taxi from the airport.
the staff is very helpful. just an example: a friend needed to go to cambodia ambassy to get his visa and the staff of the hotel did it for him.
they are also good in recommending places to visit around town and you can book your tours at the reception.
the area is close to bars, street food restaurants, massage, parks etc.

Ideal for budget travelers

my wife and i stayed for three nights in this hotel. the amenities were decent and we loved the location. most of the staff were friendly except the lady receptionist who was quite rude to some guests in the lobby. although we couldn't understand vietnamese, her body language was more than enough. and worst was she was only upset with a group of guests, the rest gets the same treatment from her... including us. overall, i would say its a nice cozy hotel except for that one incident with the lady receptionist.

Hotel can arrange city tour for you and your family.

our stay was cool. we came in a big group so it was fun. rooms given to us were close to each other. the staff were very nice and they accommodate our questions. the place is very convenient. it just near the ben than market (walking distance and its parallel to the park. the room was cozy. not very spacious but just nice for 2 pax. room was clean and no bad smell. the room was a bit far from the lift and have to climb a few steps before going towards the end of the building.

we stayed here for 2 nights and it as handy to have lots of restaurants close by and also the walking distance to the ben than market made it a convenient stop over in hcmc.
the disadvantage was the very small bathroom with shower over the toilet.
Shopping Tip:
Shopping at Ben Than market. Vietnamese Aroma is a nice restaurant to have your dinner.

Rooms are reasonably large and clean. Most receptionists do speak reasonable English. Only complaint is the positioning of the split unit air-conditioner, which applies to most of the rooms, that will blast the cool air towards the bed however you adjust the side-way louvres. It will be fine for those who like to have direct blast of air-conditioner!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit to 'Cuchi' is a MUST for tourist. Night cruise with dinner along Meikong river is relaxing. Shopping at Binh Day wholesale market is much cheaper than at Cho Ben Thanh retail market, but it's about 25 minutes away by taxi.

the service of this hotel is very correct, when i arrived in the late afternoon, i was told than my deluxe room had tub bathroom problem. so they send me to liberty 4. as soom as i was in my room, the liberty 3 rang me to ask me if i was satistied of the room and so on, and apologied again for the trouble they gave me.

The Liberty 3 is well located. Close to Ben Tanh Markets and also close to the travel agents in the Bui Vien St area.
The only problem when staying in Room 304 was some noise from the Allez Bous restaurant/nightclub, so you are better choosing a room away from the intersection.
The staff were really helpful and we think the Liberty 3 is good value.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Avoid the rooms on the corner of the hotel. There is some noise from the nightclub nearby.
