Pleasant stay at Liberty 4 Guest Rating: 4.3

A very rewarding experience overall. the lobby was well appointed with very attentive front desk personnel. Location is perfect as it is fronting the park outside the hotel and one can walk in the evening and relax. The hotel is very near and accessible to all forms of food and entertainment. Presence of candies offerings at the reception desk makes the guests feel they are all welcome. A vey pleasant stay in Ho Chi Minh city at Liberty 4 Hotel.

Very Convenient location.

the spa services was lousy and they allow noisy clients that the relaxation of other guests were compromised.

From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we had been there many times before. I stayed in a deluxe room and it was very well appointed and very clean. The staff were very friendly and amongst the most professional I have encountered in the region. I will be staying at the Liberty 4 again on my next trip to HCMC in a few days time.

Wonderful service and staff who took you across the busy raod to the taxis. Extremely clean. Very friendly, professional staff. Bank rate of exchange (higher than other hotel rates)

This hotel is easy to find. Most taxi drivers know this place, and its located just opposite a park - a green zone. I have seen the locals doing their jogs there. Its very accessible to the eateries at the back alley of the hotel also. With many cabs around, one can also get to the tourist spots such as the ben thant market or ben cho or the up market shopping district relatively fast.

Location right in the heart of the city. Breakfast with wide and good varieties, tasty. Room spacious & clean. Cable TV. Free wifi. Staff helpful and friendly.

Lift is slow.

I had taken a higher end room and was pleasantly surprised at the amenities, which include a penthouse type terrace with a little pebble patch. The high point of the stay was the breakfast buffet for sheer variety. The hotel is on the noisier side given the traffic below, the club on the first level and the smallish lobby which always seemed crowded with large group travelers.

Shoppong in HCMC Guest Rating: 3.5

Generally, it is a nice hotel, however it is too noisy and the lifts in the hotel are too small, only 4 people can get in. The shower in the bath room is too old, the door men and front desk are very kind and nice, they try their best to give service.

Five minutes walking location to Ben Than market, and the hotel is surrounded with bars.

some plates during breakfast are always empty, slow replenishment, A/C is too noisy.

Nice hotel in the central part of Ho Chi Minh City. Everything is in walking distance. Nice spa and a nice restaurant!

Liberty 4 Hotel - Saigon Guest Rating: 4.2

The Liberty 4 Hotel was a great place to come back to at the end of a busy, hot day! The room was large and very comfortable. The beds were not too hard. Nice bathroom. The buffet breakfast in the morning was yummy - lots to choose from and different each day. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in a great location - walking distance to everything and lots of activity right around the hotel. Cheap places to eat nearby. Great little noodle shop on the corner just up the road! Saigon is a great place to visit - you often hear about all the "scams" that are going on, but we found the people to be warm and friendly and didn't run into any of that! We would stay here again!

Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast, large, comfortable rooms, comfortable bed, very clean.

A bit pricey for the area (backpackers area) most other accommodation much cheaper.

• Nightlife Tip : Beer is really cheap at the noodle shops and then about quadruples in price at the bars...just as fun to sit on the sidewalk at the noodle shop as it is to sit on the sidewalk at a bar.

I would definitely stay again, I saved quite a bit on the walk-in rate by booking. They were helpful when crossing the roads, and all the taxis knew where the hotel was. It was a 5 min walk to the big market, opposite a nice park, and located in the right part of town to be able to shop, eat and drink without having to take any transport.

Rooms were nice, wifi on every floor, staff helpful with good English, and lots of great food and bars nearby.

The breakfast was very average, the gym seemed to be closed and there is no pool.

• Shopping Tip : Turn right out of the hotel and walk to the market just at the end of the park for lots of cheap and unusual bargains.

All the taxis we took knew how to reach the hotel. Taxi from hotel cost 100,000 VD and takes approx 40mins. Hotel lobby is modern and clean with free internet access for guests. Our Deluxe room was spacious and well equiped. The topfloor restaurant was nice for breakfast. The hotel bar seemed popular with guests and non-guests. Looked pretty trendy inside...We stayed for 5 nights and were totally happy with the place and would return.

Rooms were of a good size and kept clean. Hotel itself seems pretty new. Breakfast on the rooftop was nice each morning with a good selection on the buffet table. Convenient location, lots of tour operaters, cheap bars and eating spots only a few minutes away.

Nothing really to moan about, for the price it was great.

• Shopping Tip : plenty of tourist shops nearby that are happy to haggle -start your bid at 60% of the original and dont pay more than 40% less.
