First and foremost, the location is really great. It's near Ben thanh market. If you want to do a city tour, you can walk from this hotel and it's about 3 to 4 blocks away from independence palace. Unfortunately though it was a little bit noisy but not really a deal breaker. There was construction on going and we stayed at the 2nd floor. It's also cheap. The staff is also nice and helpful
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Dont get any city tour. You can do it yourself

First off, it's cheaper than the hotel next to it. I personally do not mind staying in a less fancy hotel. Secondly, the location is great. It's basically fifty steps away from ben thanh market. Even the city tour is within walking distance. The service is good. The breakfast was mediocre at best.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't get any city tour. You can walk everything in the tour from the hotel. It's a moderately long walk but I am with my folks who are already 60+ years old and my mom had a knee surgery and it was a piece of cake for them

Great location but disapointing service

This hotel had very nice rooms and the location was ideal for the market and nightlife however I was disapointed to be told I had to pay an extra $10 a night because the room I had booked was "broken", the staff were mostly helpful but this extra charge did sour the stay.

Relatively inexpensive, especially for a hotel room in District 1

Room is clean, inexpensive and comfortable. However, it can be noisy at night.
Do consider paying more for Liberty Central beside the hotel for a truly luxurious stay instead.

Lien An Saigon Hotel 2 is near to the airport and also walking distance to shopping area. The hotel rate is very reasonable and include with the breakfast. The hotel is clean and staff is very friendly too. We would like the Agoda to recomend the hotel to give free mineral water or Hot Water in the room for customer making tea/cofee in the room. Very safe hotel and easy to get taxi to go anywhere in the city.
