Nothing, Nothing, Nothing
5.7
Please don't use this Hotel, It only got clean rooms but staff are just not Friendly. We were told to order Breakfast a night before so we ordered Spicy Beef soup. The next day they gave us Original Beef soup, when we asked they said there was a miscommunication so just HAVE it !!! They didn't bother to change. We were shocked.... It is Located in a dark alley way and there are local drinking all along the way. Please don't waste your money....

Cosy with nice rooms
Clean and well-maintained, great service, Liked the location
9.3
The hotel is small and cosy - about 12 rooms I think. It used to be a family home and has been converted into a B&B. The service is excellent - very friendly and helpful. It is located out of the town centre so you get to see bits of HCM life you may not see if you were staying in one of the usual city hotels. As you walk along the lane to get in and out of the hotel you get to glimpse into homes and little shops. it may not be the perfect location however for those who prefer busting city night life areas as you would have to take taxis in and out. However the hotel staff are always on hand to get you one if you need a ride. Rooms are well planned and very clean. They also offer single rooms which are smaller but just as comfortable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The stairs can prove to be quite a climb even though there are only four floors. Each flight seems pretty long and slightly steep so if you should try to get a room on the lowest floor available!

this hotel is a bit off from the main road. it is hidden in a local residential area in district 3. however, it is still convenient to travel back and forth. hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and very good service. the french mansion with a taste of modern contemporary, simple, quiet, with tasteful decoration.
highly recommended.
Travel tip:
taxi driver always cheating in hcmc. carefully pick of taxi brand is needed, can choose "mailinh" or "visasun".
others are fine.
toilets are clean

Probably the best hotel in HCMC :)
Excellent service, beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast
9.7
We had a fantastic stay at Ma Maison. The loveliest personnel, beautiful rooms, excellent service and delicious breakfast. If coming back to HCMC we would at any time choose to stay at Ma Maison again. And we would like to pass on our warmest recommendations.

Friendly Service - nice decor, clean and helpful!
Nice cozy design, free Wi-fi, free drinks, helpful staff

Our package comes with only 3 nights hotel stay in Sheraton and after reading a few reviews we decided to stay at ma Maison. I must admitted the location was a bit out of the way so if your activities are mainly in downtown, it may not be the most convenience, location is also a bit obscure and taxi cannot access the small ally but it doesn't take long for us to find it and the local people is very friendly and they helped! However it really makes our first night enjoyable and being in HcMC for the first time it helps to have some useful tips as the city can get a bit crazy for foreignerS.
It was a great stay albeit short! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the busy district 1 and have some local favor!

beautiful home away from home
friendly atmosphere - cant do enough to make you happy
9.7
we arrived at this hotel at around 5am after catching a sleeper train from nha trang. we were exhausted but soon perked up after seeing how clean and homely this hotel was. the following morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and chatted with the owner. he has studied hospitality in europe and it certainly shows. what it lacks in traditional vietnamese style is made up for in lovely warm atmosphere. we found this hotel the perfect distance from the airport and city centre. a must stay!

Lovely boutique hotel with great friendly service
Comfortable, welcoming and beautiful
9
My friend and I wanted to stay relatively close to the airport and this boutique hotel was just perfect, a very warm environment with great service.
There is the main street nearby with street stalls and shops.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Overall a very warm hotel to stay at.
Travel tip:
Note that after requesting online for a high floor, we discovered there were no lifts and the staircases are narrow and steep which made us feel bad that the hotel staff had to lug our heavy suitcases up to our room. A very big 6 flight of stairs climb to get to the third floor that we were on.

i booked this hotel for a little bit of paris in saigon for my mothers 60th birthday. she was a little nervous when we were driving out there as it is a little bit out of the main hub and tourist areas of ho chi minh. however when we arrived we were all blown away but it's charm. a little jewel in nestled in a local neighbourhood. the moment we walked in door we were greeted, seated and given a delicious welcome drink. the staff were unbelievably accommodating and generous. the even ordered a cake and sang happy birthday to my mum! the hotel it self is beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. i just wish we could of stayed longer! highly recommend ma maison, it is a little out of town however taxi rides are cheap and it's a great opportunity to see another district of saigon.
Restaurant Tip:
We were booked in to Trios Gourmands for mum's birthday dinner which was excellent. However the Ma Maison staff also recommend to have a drink at The Deck before dinner. Proved to be a great recommendation!

“More than a boutique hotel...”
Extremely friendly and hospitable service, Quaint, lovely hotel and room design that was immaculately clean, fabulous breakfast and free flow of drinks all day long.

we were surprised that the hotel was situated in a back alley. but after a short walk past a few local homes, we found ma maison and stepping into ma maison was like stepping into the home of a close friend as we were warmly greeted by natasha - the owner of the hotel.
we were ushered into the cafe-reception area of this quaint little hotel-home, where we were served with fresh, icy cold passionfruit juice while checking-in. natasha promptly settled our check-in and planned a day tour for us around hcm city since we were only there for a day. it is so rare to be greeted with such hospitality these days.
our room was absolutely lovely and so clean you've got to book a stay here to see it for yourself. we stayed in the deluxe room and it definitely provided me with a restful, peaceful night's sleep away from the bustle of hcm city.
one thing to note though, there are no elevators in this little hotel so be prepared to climb 4 floors up to the deluxe room. but the room is worth every bit of energy you put into climbing those stairs.
make sure you start your day with the breakfast they serve at the cafe. there's a choice of vietnamese or european breakfast. we had the vietnamese breakfast and both the noodles (can't remember the exact names of the noodles but the seafood noodle was a saigon dish and the beef noodle was a central vietnam dish as we were told by natasha's uncle) we had were the best we had in vietnam so far. the additional baguette we were kindly offered had a thin n crispy skin and light and fluffy on the inside. yum!
Hotel Feature Tip:
We had an upgrade to the Deluxe room and it definitely provided us with a very comfortable stay. Good sized room for 2 pax.
No elevators so do request for a room on the lower floor if you don't want to climb too many flights of stairs to your room.
