Built in 1925, the 175-guestroom hotel is a historical landmark of stunning French Colonialist design. The Hotel Majestic is seven kilometers from the Ho Chi Minh City Airport. The five-star hotel is also less than two kilometers from the Notre Dame Church and the Ben Thanh Market. One half of the building offers a stunning view of the Saigon River, while the other half overlooks the swimming pool. There are eight food, drink, and entertainment establishments, offering everything from European and Asian cuisine to cocktails at a piano bar. Throughout its rich history, the hotel has been host to famous authors, heads of state, the Japanese Imperial Army, and espionage agents.

Couples Australia, May 14, 2013	Not a good value hotel in Saigon Character & history 6.3 We stayed there for two nights,the first night we could not sleep because of the loud music above our room,the breakfast was ordinary & the staff were just.I have stayed in many hotels in Saigon at a quarter of the price of this hotel & was a lot happier.I would not recommend this hotel.After complaining about the noise, they offered us a late 4 pm checkout ,they normally charge for this, most don't .Should be 4 star.
