Another great stay in Majestic hotel. I would stay here all the time except the pool is a bit on the small size but everything else scores 10/10
Nightlife Tip:
Hotel is close to great resturants and souvenier shops.

it was our fourth stay in this wonderfully located hotel, and it hasn't changed. maybe the most impressive thing about the hotel is, that the breakfast is at the roof terasses overlooking the saigon harbour and the mekong.

My only complaint is about the showers -- for the price and the number of stars, they should be more than a removable sprayer. Otherwise, this hotel is perfect. Great breakfasts too.

Really nice hotel in a great area of Saigon.

Loved the solid french colonial building, inside and outside. Good to see it is being looked after. It does have that majestic look and feeling without going overboard. Our room with a Saigon River view was superb. It is also within walking distance of many nice cafes, bars and restaurants, not to mention the famous night market. I can recommend this hotel thoroughly.

Great hotel in a very central location. Hotel staff are friendly and the concierge can book private car tours for you. The tours are quite expensive however it's a private car with driver and guide so very comfortable and you can often beat the bus crowd.
Hotel has a very expansive breakfast on the rooftop patio with plenty of western and Asian options. It's very centrally located for both dining and shopping.

loved the location across the road from saigon river. the breakfast selections were the best in the whole trip of any hotel our trip. the breakfast room at the top of the building had fantastic views. we loved the way the staff went out of their way to help us.

Heritage hotel with ambience at a great location
Good value with lots of amenities and convenient location by the Saigon river

ambience and decor is deliberately colonial heritage. may come off as dated if you prefer modern decor in your hotel; however was delightful for me as we were looking for that heritage character. amenities and facilities though were progressive and up to date.
location by the river allowed for sultry evening happy hours gazing over the river scene on the rooftop bars - they have 1 on each wing. and was also convenient walking to the sights around district 1, especially along dong khoi street.
breakfast buffet was a diverse spread of western, continental, asian and vietnamese cuisine.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you're into fun local experiences and adventure, try signing up on a tour with Vietnam Vespa Adventures. They take you around on Vespas the way the locals do. Especially recommend the Saigon After Dark tour, which takes you to several local eateries to sample Vietnamese specialities, and to local cafes and bars to check out the nightlife.

very good location with lots of good restaurants around.try aramis massage. they are all over on the street promoting their business.also must do is a visit to kinh bac restaurant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
grab a taxi from outside any airport in Vietnam. They cost half the price and we did not get cheated once.If the Taxi driver knows where to go he will be honest.
