decent hotel, bad service and breakfast

Reception has poor attitude. When i asked the recept who was on duty at night to help with the exhaust fan that was making a loud noise, he told me to turn off the fan!
There was no buffet breakfast, you can order a set from the cefe at no charge but additional food on top of the set was charged, which i felt is extremely bad. Food prices were also exhorbitant, a cup of coffee cost 3 times as much in the hotel as compared to those in the coffee shops.
However, hotel room is big and clean and very well organised, dspite the bad exhaust, and the sockets some of them were not working. Corridorswere brightly lit which pleased me .
All in all, there should be better maintainece and upkeep of the hotel d upkeep of the hotel.. horrible

15 mins from Airport and very near CBD.

-New, clean room. Clean Bath and good water pressure.
-Wifi in the room and lobby.
-Service staff speak fair English but good enough to communicate.
-Hotel surrounded by good local food.
-Hotel also operate a massage center. 30% discount for room guest but have to tip them.

The hotel staff speak only a small amount of English but are very friendly. The room was very big and the bathroom was small but modern, both very clean. There was a long 'window seat' but this was just a long wooden box, which was not conformable. The food in the restaurant was good and cheap, but some of the menu items had been translated into English incorrectly.

The hotel was conveniently located at a few hundred meters from my office, and at 15 minutes walk from the historical district 1.
Overall look of the hotel is modern, spacious and very pleasant, from the lobby to the room and shower.
Wifi was availbale on each floor, but there were ups and downs with the connection quality.
Smiling staff, English ok, and a delicious local beef soup (Phó Bo) to start your day in the lobby restaurant.
I didn't try the spa/massage.

i think the standard rooms are ok for two or three nights. after that it becomes a bit cramped. the price is right however and the staff is friendly. the hotel is in a good location in district 3 and is convenient to everything by taxi. breakfast could be better but the restaurant does a good job in general. it's a small hotel and quite new.
Restaurant Tip:
Saigon is a great place for French food. I don't know that the French would think so, but it's fine for me.

Have chinese restaurant just next to the hotel for who like chinese Hong Kong style food.Hotel aslo have SPA and Massage services
