Hallways and bedding smelled musty. This hotel could use some upgraded ventilation and a make-over.

Close to airport, large room

Very nice hotel. Fast check-in, but had to speak to manager to not give my credit card as I already paid fully. We arrived late and left early to catch next flight, so did not see anything.

Good hotel but small hiccups
Executive benefits, good location, pleasant staff
8
We stayed 2 nights there with minimal fuss, there were 2 hiccups. I regularly stay at Movenpick in Hanoi so I thought I'd try the one at Saigon.
Likes: We like the breakfast, Staff were well trained, pleasant and polite. Executive Lounge good and quiet. Rooms were tidy and clean.
Dislikes: Price of the Japanese Restaurant went up significantly, no longer like before. Cleanliness of the baby cot. Agoda selling the rooms as Executive Rooms were misleading. It is just a basic room with Executive Benefits, not really Executive type rooms. We had to pay on arrival check in to "upgrade", I don't feel it was worth the money to upgrade.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do ask the staff to clean the baby cot if you ever ask for one. Ours were covered in dust and our baby had allergies because of that.

Great Service and Amazing Facilities
Friendly Staff and Comfortable Beds
9.3
having traveled throughout vietnam, this was my last stop. the staff were so friendly and welcoming (not something you get everywhere in vietnam) and the facilities were beautifully presented. the food from the japanese restaurant downstairs was amazing and authentic. great option if you are wanting to stay close to the airport.

some good, some bad
location close to the airport
7
the food is pretty good here, but the dim sum restaurant only serves full dim sum menu on weekends which is quite a shame, considering it's pretty good.
some rooms are old and worn, better get a deluxe room because those seem to be maintained better. i got a free upgrade twice and found the deluxe rooms to be the best.
service is not bad, could be quicker.
service at the SLATE bar is not consistent, one day is really terrible, the next day it's really good.
overall, nothing special, i've stayed here a few times and it gets worse each time. it's not like the first time i went when it was really great. maybe it's new management?

it's very convenient for a short stay. it's closed to the airport, but most rooms are no views and the room is very small for a standard room, so it's not a five stars hotel. it should be 4 stars. and the female staffs at the reception need more training about customer service.
