short distance (10-15min by taxi). considerate manager-postpone my booking without penalty due to weather hazard) no big supermarket or shopping centre nearby, not convenient for shopping. no free breakfast, no free internet. food in restaurant is too expensive good service, staff nice and helpful. room spacious and clean. but no free breakfast (need pay US$16), no free internet (need pay US$12 for 24hr internet). no supermarket-not so convenient

A great buffet and grand rooms. Construction in the hotel, making it noisy at all hours. At 2:00am the noise above my room quited. The front staff was helpful and courtious at all times I had to leave for my plane at 3:00 am but when it came to refined questions their English was lacking. The food service was very good, attenive waiters and all done with a great pleasness. I was very pleased with the smiling and happy staff. The construction and noise made an unsatisfied stay.

reasonably convenient to the airport incompetent service; over-priced F&B; malunctfioning AC It started badly. The clerk at reception couldn't swipe my credit card. I had to insist, call a manager, who then managed to use the credit card reader. The AC in the room broke down in the middle of the night - which was uncomfortable as it's very hot and humid in HMC. Again, the manager had to be called so as to move rooms. The manager herself was excellent. The problem lay in the lack of initiative among junior staff. Overall, proximity to the airport doesn't compensate for incompetence. Better to stay closer to the center and allow an extra 10 or 15 mins in the taxi.

Great hotel for business or pleasure. Price is competitive. Staff are very helpfull and room was tidy and clean. Overall satisfied and will get back again. I am a business traveller and I know this hotel since it was named as Omni Saigon. I feel very welcomed in here, as the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The services were excellent. My secretary sent some business faxes from my office in the UK before I arrived and they have no problem in passing those important documents to me when I checked in. What an excellent service. Moreover the breakfast is very good, complete with choices. To arrange a meeting in this hotel is also quite easy and plenty areas that you can use for lobbying your precious customers. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the services and the staff. I would like to go back again when I am visiting Ho Chi Minh city in my next business trip.

Quite a surprise, a neo-colonial new-build hotel. The lobby is beautiful and check-in and bell staff were always friendly. Room is not huge but comfortable. The restaurant is up to par, with a Swiss chef; breakfast has 'real' muesli. Club- sandwich went down well, as did Viet dishes. No complaints there. The Moevenpick Hotel Saigon will serve the needs of a business traveller or someone wanting to stay close to HCMC airport at a fair price. It’s quite far from the tourist attractions in the main area and downtown. Tourists should consider alternative properties in District 1. Very good service, food was excellent, room was better than expected. Interiors were first class, pick up service from airport was well organized. Definately worth staying longer next time.

The standard room is clean and spacious and the king-sized bed was very comfy. Very nice and friendly staffs. Breakfast is always good. But, you can certainly tell it's an older hotel. Outside of the new carpet and paint, much within the room remains quite dated. Value for money I would say and very close to airport for quick getaway. Taxi to town is about 2-3 USD.

Cleanliness, Competitive Price Location. Not very suitable for business traveller The price is quite a good catch for a Five Star Hotel. It is clean and I got a good pool view room.
But I think that it does not meet 5 Star standard. The staff service is not very outstanding. The Business centre is run down and very small and lousy. I will not recommand it to Business traveller who needs good business center and small meeting room arrangement. Internet is too expensive.
For people who like to walk around the hotel area for food and site seeing. Movepick is not a good choice. The location is bad. During traffic jam, it is even harder to get to the main city area.

Good service - good state of rooms.Steam and sauna Location -near but not so near the airport. Need to taxi into town for most services (range of restaurants etc) The hotel has a good overall standard, clean and relatively new. The breakfast and evening buffets are good. There is an outside snack bar which is handy if you only want a snack and freshly made cakes (good for birthday celebrations also). The gym, pool, steam and sauna facilities are also good.

Good location if you don't want to explore the city. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast compare to others. Quite far from town if you're a tourist. Some rooms especially Standard/Superior rooms need renovation! Not recommend for toursist!

location, poor business center this time round the stay is better. price is still as attractive wit promotion rate. room is good and clean. the food is good. staff service and attitude has been professional. the bad thing is still the lack of good business center and meeting facilities.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : u can take the river cruise plus buffet. good way to tour the city and enjoy vietnames food.
