What a great place for a family traveling with 2 kids. We let our boys sleep in the master bedroom, equipped with a big TV and their own ensuite bathroom. We had a big living room with dining table, sofas and balcony overlooking the city. Great to have a fully equipped kitchen: as a family with young children we love to lunch out, and have dinner at home so we can put them to bed on time and then enjoy some coffee or wine. Just outside the hotel entrance, but still on the hotel grounds there is a small supermarket that sells drinks, snacks, some vegetables and rice/pasta. The big market is only a 20 minute walk, so buying your vegetables for almost local proces is also an option.
Norfolk Mansion has a nice lap pool, and next to it a jacuzzi. It's location is great. One day we walked to the Jade Emperor temple, and then to the Zoo and the museum next to it. Another day we walked to the French quarters, the cathedral, and strolled around the streets and the quay. On the last day we visited the central market to stock up on souvenirs.

The staff were very attentive with excellent English. Breakfast was very good and the staff very quick to help. Taxis were readily available an the staff always on hand to flag one down and open doors for you. Very quiet no noise from other rooms heard.
Highly recommended.

The rooms are so well decorated and new.

I have always book this hotel directly but this time it was booked thru Agoda by my agent.
The hotel location is good as my clients office is near and the hotel interior is well maintained and properly decorated.
It is also very quiet and the bed very comfortable.
The hotel staffs are very friendly and most helpful at all times.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant in the hotel serve very good chinese food.
