Overall, I had a pleasant trip staying in Saigon. Its is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The place is safe. Lobby is spacious and comfortable. With the exception of the safe in the room which wasn't working. I would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Good location hotel with friendly stuff
Very good location, good value
8.7
Hotel allowed for early check in as our flights were early. Stuff were friendly and i like their smiles. One help us call up a restaurant to enquire about the puppet show they had. Breafast was pretty a good spread. One con is there was renovation going on from 8am-6pm at the hotel next door but it didn't affect us much as we were out of the hotel most of the times. Cosy rooms had no windows but my priority was in the location and its right in the centre of the city. Cab fare to Ben than market, notre dame cost only around 25000d which is less than 2sgd. It is very much worth the price we paid.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sinh cafe is famous for tours. Take only mai linh or vinasun cabs.

Good hotel, best location in Siagon!
Location, location and location !!

Hotel was comfortable. Rooms are not big but ok. The breakfast is good and the view great from the breaky table.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be very wary of the spruking taxi drivers. They have a switch to add 100,000 dong to the taxi metre, whenever you are not watching. We fell for it a few times before we cottoned on. A taxi trip the entire length of HCMC should be less than 100,000 dong. Use Vinasun taxis as they are government run and do not rip you off. Other than that, the place is great. We walked everywhere and had a great time. The traffic is MAD!. We have been to Bali 13 times and driven through Denpasar many times, that is nothing compared to Siagon.

The hotel location is good for my business meetings at District 1. It is also near to many restaurants and shopping area too. The service staff is also polite though their English is not that good. The room is comfortable and clean for the price paid and the bed is comfortable too. They also have the basic bath amenities too.

Great location.
nice clean rooms, some with a view, friendly staff.
8.3
This hotel is in the perfect location for sight seeing. Its a 5 minute wlak to the river and 10 minute walk to Ben Thang markets. Many restaurant and shops within walking distance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be careful of some taxis. Some of the meters are rigged and the driver can click the numbers up. it is a great place and very cheap. A dinner for 2 with drinks is between $10 and $15 dollars.

Lovely hotel in great location.
Easy access to restaurants and shopping.

Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. They were helpful with transport. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. Although there was a letter apologising for noise from nearby building work, the hotel was very quiet.
The restaurant was good with a lovely view over the City Hall. There were gardens and trees giving a green outlook.
The only one down point was that the gym was not open during my stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Just around the corner is a Vietnamese restaurant called Lemongrass (also a branch in the Palace Hotel just near the Oscar). The good was great, very tasty, very light and offered a good range of vegetarian. Fresh herbs were used throughout. Service was very good and waiters spoke English.
