Good Quality hotel with excellent location
Clean bathroom and berdoom and accessories are appropriate for this class of hotel

Stay was pleasant and this is about my 11 trip to this hotel. Consistent quality of service and hotel is generally well maintained, clean and breakfast is as usual very good.
Keep up the good work.
Shopping Tip:
Take only Vinasun or Malingh Taxi and be very careful of the taxi in front of the market. Take only taxi with drivers wearing proper uniform and name tag, otherwise, you will be out for a long hefty taxi bill from Ban Thanh Market

The stay at the Oscar was what I expected. Really I couldnt fault the hotel, although there was a slight smoke smell to the room. Im tipping the floor I was on used to be a smoking floor. Remembering that HCM City is busy and most hotels will be on the average side of things. For what I paid, i was quite happy. The location is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful enough. Unless you want to pay 5 star prices in HCM at one of the big fancy hotels, I think the Oscar is quite OK.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Mekong Delta is worth doing. Not a glamourous view, in regards to the colour of the river, but hey.. it is a river!! All rivers tend to be brown. It was definately worth doing to see the mekong and also to be able to get in and around the area and see some local life.

Central location and good service

For a single night stay, this hotel did the trick. Comfortable, helpful staff and central to Ho Chi Minh City. Free wifi, good food for the included breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a good hotel at a decent rate in Ho Chi Minh City.

Well situated in District 1. Most staff have some understanding of English but that of reception staff and management could be improved. A clean well maintained hotel with friendly staff eager to please within walking distance of most of the tourist "must see" sites. Would most certainly stay there again as was excellent value for money.

Easy access to all location in town surrounded with tones of resturants from local to international food.Walking distance to famous Binh Thanh Market and Shopping Centers are just round every corner. A quiet and relax room to rest especially after a tiring day. Strongly recommended as price were reasonable and with the present of helpfull and cheerfull staffs.

Nice hotel, good waiting staff except front office
The Hotel is rather old & can use a thorough renevation. The rooms withiout windows are just not good enough

the front desk staff are hopeless especially the female that was working the morning shift when i was there. She seemes rather rude, but ultimately helped me out. i did not want to approach the front desk to ask any questions when she was there. the others were reasonable, considering the poor conditions they were working under. the front desk does not have enough cupboard/ storage place. It looked unprofessional
The lady in the jewelery shop was also unhelpful to me, when i asked where other jewellery shops around the city were.
The hotel also needs more internet computer terminals, as two are never going to be enough!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't stay at the oscar hotel!
But do dine there on the 11th floor. The views are very nice with very good service.

Very near to the sightseeing points such as the theatre, council, museum, church, red church, post office, only takes 5-15 min. by walk.
Very convenient to shopping, Cucci, LV, Tax, Parkson, Vincom, Crystal plaza is available on foot.

Stay was comfortable. i had early flight at 6 am and they offered to pack Break fast for me and it was nice gesture by staff. room were clean, tidy, location wasexcellent.
