Good value if you find a promotion
They say they are a four star hotel, though it may not be by North American standards. Many rooms do not have windows, and I think they are cheaper rooms. I wouldn't pay full price for the room I stayed in, but I think if you find a promotion on Agoda it is worth it. They are located in district 1, within walking distance or a short cab ride from nightlife and restaurants. There is not much directly outside the hotel, however, so you will have to travel just a little bit. The room and bathroom were clean. I could see that they don't clean under surfaces (i.e. the bed), but there were no bugs and the linens and towels were fresh. The staff could use additional training and language lessons.

Miserable in so many ways
Old fashioned state run (“Saigon Tourism”) hotel which assures poor service and stupefying ignorance. For example: 1. There were two of us however at check in the clerk informed that hotel policy was to hand out only one key card per room. Fortunately after about five minutes of “discussion” he backed down. If we had not prepaid we would have walked and found another hotel. 2. The clerk did get his revenge by putting us in a 10th floor room directly below the bar, which resonated with loud music and stomping feet. 3. Safe in the room is from the century before last; you need a “special key” which you have to sign for. Even with this it was impossible to use. 4. Whoever designed the bathroom must have been on LSD. Bizarre angles, nearly impossible to safely get into the bathtub. 5. The windows were one step above cellophane so noise from the outside resonated within. At least we knew what the live band was playing at the “Saigon Saigon” bar several blocks away. 6. When we took off at 5 AM the clerk was asleep at the front desk (which I suppose was preferable to his extremely annoying demeanor while awake). If you would like to take a trip back to pre-tourism Vietnam of the 1980’s this is the place for you. Otherwise avoid!

Very comfortable
I got a good rate. The hotel had a good buffet breakfast. The rooms were modern and clean with the standard(or more) room amenities. Hotel had a good lounging lobby. Staff were great...couldn't ask for more at the closing leg of my month long journeys thru Asia.

Good location and reasonable price but little bit old
Location, breakfast and price are very good. But, the elevator is little bit small and old, so take newer one on the left.
