Location, location, location! Walking distance to many places of interest in Section 1 - Reunification Hall, People's Committe Hall, Ben Tanh market etc. Also interesting "real" neighbourhood behind the main street.

The old wing of the hotel needs refurbishment/updating.

Booked a Suite via the internet. But the suite was in the old wing, a floor below the restaurant, therefore noisy as diners scrape their chairs. The decor was old, shabby and tired. The shower was a useless drizzle. I didn't think this standard was worth the room cost. After staying one night, I asked to be moved to another room and was given a room in the new wing. I wasn't given a suite replacement but the new room was much more modern and the shower worked!

Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a room in the new wing.

Great location, small but modern rooms (in new wing) excellent breakfast

Old wing is very musty andin need of renovation which will happen between now and the end of the year. New rooms are small.

We checked into the hotel with our Agoda reservation and were shown a "suite" in the old wing. We promptly asked for a change, which was granted with a minimum of fuss. The hotel is in the middle of the city near great restaurants, Dong Khoi St. and walking distance to the Reunification Palace. A small rooftop pool was excellent for cooling down after a day of hot touring. I would recommend the new wing.

Travel tip : Two blocks away is the Temple cafe with great food and in different directions Dong Khoi St. (formerly Rue Catinet) and the Rex and Continental hotels all of which figure in "The Quiet American."

Right in the heart of town

Staff was not that friendly

Just remodelled. Modern, great location and very good price. Many times better than staying at the Rex. I would definitely stay here again. It also had a fantastic breakfast and 2 for 1 lunch and dinner seafood buffet for people staying at the hotel.
