This was a very nice hotel. The room was large, clean and had everything that we wanted in a hotel. the bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the wi fi in the room. The airport pickup was also very convenient.

None

This was a perfect hotel for us. We needed to be near the airport but liked the free shuttle bus downtown. The hotel staff was very good. We were met at the airport even though our plane was delayed. The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding. Wi fi in the room was very convenient. The room was large and very comfortable.

Travel tip : Taxi drivers may charge too much. Make sure that the cab drops you off at the front door of the hotel so that you can get a staff member to talk with the cab driver if you have a problem.

Rooms are good size, quite, clean and western in style. Also proximity to the airport.

construction in front of the hotel makes it hard to come and go. Food in the restaurant was sub-par.

Even with a room facing the street it was quite because of the double pained glass. This is a good thing because of the construction going on in front of the street makes this street particularly noisy. The cabs, if coming the other way down the street, don't want to hassle with getting into the hotel so they will drop you off across the street and you'll have to run the gauntlet of autos and scooters to get across the street. Once you get into the hotel the staff is very curtious and friendly and the hotel itself is very well appointed. Most of the staff seemed to have at a minimum a functional use of the English language which made eliminates a lot of stress you find in some of the "local" hotels in Saigon. If you are just transiting through Saigon and want a decent hotel to spend the night in this is a good choice. It definitly beats having to commute in and out of District 1.

Hotel Feature Tip : The massages are inexpensive and a good way to unwind from a long flight.

Very near to the airport so ideal when you have to leave on an early flight.

Almost no restaurants etc in the area

I always stay at this Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City when I have to spend 1 night before I can continue on a domestic flight. It is a fairly basic business Hotel but the rooms are good and quite large. Going into the city center takes about 30 minutes by taxi. The nicest thing about the Hotel is that is just 5 minutes away from the airport so very convenient for travellers who need to change flights in Ho Chi Minh City and leave early in the morning.

Travel tip : When you arrive at the airport take a taxi that runs with a meter (± 2 US Dollar) instead of paying a fixed fee of ± 9 US Dollar.

Close to airport - only 20 - 25 minutes away from downtown. Spacious room. Free WIFI

A/C needs to be redone, can't get temperature under +20°C - features only a single restaurant - Buffet offers OK food, but not up to stadnard for more demanding customers.

Correctly priced hotel - OK for short stay in city (close to airport) - distance to downtown within acceptable reach - Hotel staff is friendly & experienced - Swimming pool is too close to restaurant and rooms allows no privacy - Fitness center properly equipped - "superior" room is scapious, comes with free internet access, bathrobes - sufficient TV channels on offer.

Close to airport.

nothing around the hotel

I stayed here for one night in march. I booked it because it was near the airport and I was catching a flight the next day. Ideal for passing through but limited for visiting siagon. There is not much around the hotel, although we did eat at a local PHO 24 located about 5 mins away, turn right out of the hotel.

Business hotel service comfort and quietness Another part of HCMC than the center

Local cuisine too "sanitized" Some staff english a little weak for this kind of hotel

We looked for a business style hotel to rest from our flight before the trip. This typical Novotel was the perfect match. Some points : - Early check in ok - Calling local from the lobby is charged cheap (normal, but not the case in all hotels) - Going straight to destination and faring the just price might be a condition for taxis waiting outside - Good international breakfast buffet, though pho is really substandard (i'm of vietnamese origin). - They give a small tourist guide targeted for business travellers : another point of view on the city than backpackers or sightseeing guides

Shopping Tip : There's a supermarket just across the road. It's pretty useful to get an overview on prices before going to Ben Tanh or any other market. Plus supermarkets are getting more and more popular in Vietnam, so it's also a glimpse on another part of Vietnamese life

Atrium and quality rooms

Distance from city.

Stayed at Park Royal and Movenpick on this stay and preferred the Park because of the quieter rooms. It seems strange that it is one star less than the Movenpick. The restaurant is very good with pleasant staff and great buffet. The value is better also than Movenpick.

Travel tip : Excellent hotel

Good atmosphere and has everything you need. Close to airport.

A bit far from the centre of town

This hotel has everything you need, is clean, comfortable and modern to boot. The pool area is good for a relax and the hotel has a good intimate feel about it. Not as big as some of the bigger hotels in Ho Chi Minh but more than makes up for it with its friendly staff and general appeal.Value for money.

Travel tip : They have a shuttle bus that runs you into town

A short five-minute walk from the hotel is a large army museum, for those interested in these things. The museum is not publicized, but is in fact the legitimate military museum in the city, unlike the somewhat "propagandish" War Crimes Museum in the central city.

This hotel is some distance from District 1 and all the tourist stuff there. But the hotel is great as a comfortable and friendly airport hotel, just 5 minutes away from the terminal.

Hotel Feature Tip : If you want transportation to/from the airport to the hotel, you can phone ahead and arrange for a hotel car. It's something like $10, but the convenience of having a car waiting for you is worth it.

Clean, spacious, great bathroom, helpful staff, excellent facilities

very business like - not so much for tourists

The room was extremely clean, comfortable and visually appealing. The bathroom facilities were excellent, especially the spacious bath. The bed was comfortable and enormous. The hotel staff were very helpful to us and directed us to the district that were looking for. They also stored our bags for us on our day of departure. The hotel felt very much like a business trip location, however it was still very appealing to two females travelling for leisure.

close to airport

wouldn't go back because it had no character. Just another chain hotel.

I should have been a bit more adventurous and gone for a boutique hotel. I was just looking for a stop over hotel but Novotel was nothing special and the room had not been completely made up when we got into the room. I also had a massage and it was made very clear that they expected a tip. (It was a very average massage!)

Travel tip : if you arrive late in to HCM and are going to leave early then this might be the hotel for you.
