Very nice hotel as you would expect for the price

Excellent hotel in a great location. Breakfast offered everything you could possibly want. Room facilities were good apart from the shower which was not up to the standard I would expect from a hotel of this class. Of all the hotels we stayed in during 3 months of travel in SE Asia this was the only one at which our bags were not delivered to the room, a minor point but one I found quite odd.

we enjoyed our stay at the renaissance riverside hotel saigon! we stayed at the club level so we had free use of internet, complimentary cocktails and all day snacks. the location is ideal and the staff are extremely helpful and nice. i will definitely stay here again on my next visit to ho chi minh city!

If you don't mind old facilities, it is fine hotel.
Workers are very nice, full of hospitalities.
When I left my trousers in the dust bin by mistake,
they figured it was for cleaning and they washed and kept them for me.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Saigon is a small lovely city. Enjoyed so much shopping. We felt sorry that we did not buy vietnam coffee makers...

we upgraded for to have access to the executive lounge, where we had free (non-alc) drinks and access to internet. we had a very big room with all the comforts. it is located at the edge of the tourist stretch of hcmc. it even has a pool on the roof with a great view of the city. the breakfast selection was extravagant. everything was perfect. beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.

We just stayed for one night. The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was far to soft and we were rolling towards the middle the hole night. The pillows were nice and comfortable. They have basic toiletries, if you like to have more choices like cotton swab etc. you have to ask for it. We had the sunday brunch. It starts at 11:30. Nice selection of food. Price is included of free flow of wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee but no juice. We asked for a late check out but it was not possible. Late check out would be 2 pm and we asked for 2:30 but it was not possible.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Sandals on Hai Ba Trung, or Wrap and Roll also on Hai Ba Trung. Sandals has western and asian food, yummy salad, wraps, sandwiches and Wrap and Roll is vietnamese. You have to roll your own springrolls, very healthy and light food.
