Great location but old hotel

Hotel at good location. But the room is too old, bathtub water brokage, change to another room, but the room door can't really close tide. Reception staff(night shift-male staff)not friendly and not helpful. But the housekeeping and other staff quite friendly. As compare to the same hotel rate, I think I can get better hotel in the same and very nearby location. Will not recommend to friends on this hotel.

This hotel has a great location in district 1. The room was a bit worn and the view from my room was not good. Air condition broke down so a got a new room that smell mold. The bed was too hard. The health club and pool was great. Breakfast was fantastic.

location amongst historical buildings and wide boulevards. staff keep the hotel immaculate .

we booked this hotel with agoda on a 50 percent off special ( a$45 + taxes ) and were very happy with it for the price. it was spotlessly clean and rooms were big and comfortable. the staff keep the hotel immaculately clean .it is amongst old french hotels such as the rex, carvavelle and continental and a great location on a wide boulevard . the older part of the hotel dates back to the french occupation and there are old photos of the facade .there is a great department store and supermarket right next door. walking distance to main attractions.

we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go to, but check the times as most are not open all day so you can do 2 or 3 in a day.
the war museum was good but does have some trerrible picture and not for children to go too.
the croosing of road is just crazy it is hope and pray,

Right in the middle of the shopping district. There is a large department store next door. Pool is not on the roof so does t get much sunshine. Breakfast could be better but can't beat the location.

our stay in royal hotel saigon was relaxing and we loved the breakfast. the gym needs a little maintenance and perhaps an uplift, but pool and saunas were nice. we even sun bathed besides the pool - they let us stay there after we checked out. the service was friendly and efficient and the location of the hotel perfect!

great location close to mahor attractions

location was superb and walking distance to attractions. the hotel is spotless and the staff are really proud of their hotel. the doorman and bellboys were helpful and kind. would stay there again. there are limited views from the rooms as the area is quite built up but other hotels i have stayed at in saigon were the same. the breakfast room has a great view down the wide boulevard of nguyen hue.

It was a great stay as there are many shopping centres ad restaurants near the hotel. Ben than market is also near with 15 walkable distance. The main attraction is also near the hotel as the located at the central district.
