Lovely last minute hotel
great location right bang in the backpacker ville, good bathroom and bed, cheap

We were a little bit worried after booking a room with no window but we were pleasantly surprised. Room is small but just what u need for a 1 night / 2 night stay, bathroom is great (hot powerful shower). Breakfast was a bit strange but fantastic view of HCMC.

we stayed in saigon mini hotel 5 for a quick visit to saigon to start our 2.5 week trip in vietnam. in short the hotel is pretty basic. the beds are quite hard (we like it so for us it was perfect), the shower pressure is ok, the breakfast is a limited choice of various combinations of eggs and bread.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room as high as possible as the view over Saigon is great and the street noise can be a bit annoying when battling jet lag..

Room was good enough to satisfy our needs. We went there only for sleep so the hotel was really good for that. There is nothing to complain about it. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Good review on Tripadvisor but I found there are plenty of choices around in the area, even on the same street! The superior double room we had was very small. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared.
The staff was very helpful with all kinds of bookings.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Indochine Spa which is located next to the market is a real gem!

All needs met: TV, free wifi, hot water and cold air.
We deliberately booked a 2 bed room as they are larger. Breakfast is good. Suggest selecting higher floor...less street noise. Convenient to touristy things; Suggest tour agency around the corner at the Ngan Tuan hotel, gal named Xoan "Song" has good English and very knowledgeable, and can book local or far away tours and travel. Takes the hassle out of a vacation.
Tall people or wide, should not take the luxury sleeping buses, the sleep pods are made for Asians about 140 lbs.
