Small room with insects and fast internet

Ok. I wouldn't say it was great, but it wasn't that bad. The room was small, with small cockroaches crawling on the bed on each night I would arrive in my room. The bathroom had lots of fruit flies. The room smells weird when you enter with no proper ventilation and air conditioning.
The good things about the hotel are: FAST INTERNET! The location is just a step away from what you might call night life in the city. The (morning) front desk staff (forgot to get her name) was very efficient in helping us book our tours to the Cu Chi tunnels, and our bus going to Siem Reap. I booked this hotel in this area because it was quite accessible to the bus terminal, but we didn't have to go to the terminal at all. The front desk staff arrange to book the tickets for us, and the bus company even came to pick us up from the hotel on the morning of our trip to Siem Reap. We were also able to have our breakfast packed for take away since we didn't have time to have breakfast because of our early trip.
Overall, it's a not-so-bad-hotel, especially if you're travelling on a tight budget.

Don't expect much since it's a budget hotel

The hotel doesn't seem too enticing from the outside. We arrived at around 3AM and the staff were sleeping on the lobby couch and a foldable bed laid out on the lobby. The rooms were small but not bad for a budget hotel. The room smelled stuffy when you enter it with no proper ventilation and air conditioning. The amenities were ok. Bathroom was normal size. What we disliked about the hotel is that there were tiny cockroaches crawling on the bed and fruit flies all over the room and bathroom!
Breakfast was served on the next door hotel which is also operated by the same company. Food was ok, and you can request for your breakfast to be packed for take away if you need to leave early.
Overall, the hotel is not bad for budget travellers, but if you have more to spare, then please do consider other (more expensive) options.

Value for money and beyond my expectation
Spacious room although only deluxe room....with a king size and single bed. Staffs are very helpful and attentive to request. Wifi is segregated by floor and hence, fast surfing.

Had a wonderful stay, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. read other reviews prior to booking, thought it was good but it turns out to be fantastic. Will be staying here the next time I visit Saigon. I did not tried the food out of worry that it might not be halal.

OK hotel in Saigons' backpacker district

This hotel is just "OK". The standard room is small and has no Windows, but this seems to be the norm for this price in Saigon. There are some glass blocks that let in light from the corridoor, it's just a shame there is no curtain to block it out - a bit bright at night. Other than that, it's a comfy room.
The location is in the heart of the main backpacker ghetto with lots of choice in bars and restaraunts. Expect lots of noise, dodgy massage parlors and hawkers on your way to the hotel. If that is what you're looking for in a city break then you will have a great time here.
My advice is to ask for a room on a high floor and at the back. We were on floor 4 ad it was still a bit noisy.

very friendly staff. better than the others hotel that I have stayed. but always have problems on short-circuit
, takes very long to rectify. phones in the hotel not working once short-circuit. get very stuffy in the room. unable to imagine what if I am stuck in the lift. some part of money went missing inside the closest while I left to browse computer for about 15mins.
so it better to bring whatever you have wherever you go. nearby very rowdy and no good food. overall stay still pleasant.
