Clean and good location
Good location, near to Ben Tan Market. The hotel staff is friendly. Basically the room is clean.

The hotel is located in District 1 which is commercial area. It near to Ben Tan Market for all kinds of foods and sovenier. The hotel staff is friendly. Basically the room is clean. We will stay at this hotel again for the future trip. And we will also recommend this hotel to my friends. There are many restaurants selling local foods nearby.
Shopping Tip:

Spacious, clean, good facilities
Spacious, clean and good wifi reception even on the highest storey (level 9). New, swanky-looking and clean bathroom. Comfortable bedroom slippers provided.
8
The hotel room has all basic features - spacious, clean and has good wifi reception even on the highest storey. Bonus points were the big plasma tv with many channels as well as new, swanky-looking and clean bathroom. The bedroom slippers provided were the soft cushiony type, unlike those provided by most hotels. Very comfortable and a very "zen-feel" to the room. However, breakfast was only alright. Location is not at the backpackers' area and one has to walk for 15-20 min to the tourist area with more bustle and activity. More importantly, luggage deposit was at the entrance of the hotel and there was no luggage tag given. Technically, anybody could take anybody else's luggage rather easily. Security should be stepped up here when guarding the customers' belongings.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The taxi cost from the Tan Son Nhat airport to this hotel should only cost 100,000 VND or US5 if the taxi goes by meter.

Our stay at the Sanouva
Lovely rooms, friendly staff, raesonably priced and Excellent location for walking the city's sites and for venturing out to Ben Thanh Market and outside evening market for food and shopping in the evening.
8.7
We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the rooms for the price. The hotel was within walking distance of all the sights and a reasonable walk away from the backpacker area where there were plenty of nice restaurants and a few bars. The staff were very friendly, DO ask reception for a map of the city and ask them to point out the places of interest and the backpacker area as they are VERY difficult to stumble upon, as we discovered after walking around in the baking heat for an hour.I hope you enjoy HCMC and find the hotel as good as we did.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
DO ask reception for a map of the city and ask them to point out the places of interest and the backpacker area where there are some good bars and restaurants, as they are VERY difficult to stumble upon, as we discovered after walking around in the baking heat for an hour.

Sanouva Hotel - HCMC Vietnam
Great english speaking & helpfull staff, tidy & modern room, clean bathroom, reasonable price, in center
9.3
I only stayed for one night (unfortunately), but the impression Sanouva Hotel gave me was very good. Room was very clean and tidy along with its bathroom as well. The staff are just simply great, willing to help you with any issue that you might have. In other words, this would be the the hotel with best service, location, facilities for the best price. I will definetely come back again

Sanouva Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City
Location -- walking distance to many sites
7.7
For the price, this was a very serviceable hotel right in the center of town. Bed was comfortable, aircon did not cut off after leaving the room, and the bath was modern. The Sanouva does not look like much from the street, but the lobby is neat and offers free Internet access. What they need to do is offer something palatable for breakfast. Excellent breads and pastries are just down the street, as are basics like coffee and tea.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The pricier rooms are away from the street and very quiet.
