Great stay, good location
Sanouva is great value for your money, close to every attraction point , such as Ben Thanh Market, Post office, no need to take Taxi to everywhere. I will stay in here again.

Somebody said that here is no swimming pool, such a stupid guy. How much you pay, and then how much you get. I think it is the modern hotel in Ho chi Minh. It is the best and much more cleaner than Lavender hotel. Airport to here is arround 100,000 Vietnamese dollars. And if you want to buy T-shirt, don't go to Ben Thanh Martet inside. Because one T- shirt inside the Market need 8 to 10 US dollars. But at night, when the Market closed, there is some shop which is open at night and closed to the market and the seafood restaurant. They just need 40000 Vietnam Dollars , just about 2.5 US dollars.
Hotel Feature Tip:
We stayed in here for 2 night, the complimentary mineral water that we have only 2 bottles for 2 night. We then ask the housekeeping to get 2 more, but they said it is only the welcome drink . That means no more. But you can buy it just arround the street, it about 5000 Vietnam dollars.

Location of hotel is only 3 mins walk away from the famous Ben Tahn Market. Hotel is near to several eateries and 24 hour outlet. Overall, the hotel is value for money. The only complain i have is the breakfast choices are way too limited.

This hotel is very convenient. It is not luxurious but great value and ticks all the boxes. great location within walking distance from everything you wanna see in ho chi minh city. Staff are very friendly, efficient and give you good advice. Rooms are very clean but a bit noisy but nothing major. Breakfast can be better but again it is sufficient if you are not looking for a luxury.

Very good place to stay in the heart of ho chin minh. You are ten mins walk to all the big shops and about 5 min walk to the market. Staff cant do enough for you and the tours via the hotel are good too. Great place to stay.

Had requested for a double bedroom but was given a twin sharing bedroom instead. As hotel is fully booked, hence i do not have a choice but to accept. Staff is kind enough to suggest combining 2 twin beds. Pleasant stay.

We stayed in Sanouva for two nights and were very happy with our stay. The location is great for someone who is in HCMC for the first time as it's very close to all the main sights. The hotel is only one year old (they actually held their anniversary party while we stayed there!) and you can tell since it feels really new, clean and fresh. The view we had was of a quiet backstreet which was actually pretty nice since HCMC can be seem pretty crazy (the traffic..!) when you arrive there for the first time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When in HCMC only go by taxis from big well known companies - we went with a guy from a smaller company (maybe it was just him) and he had rigged the meter and made us pay way too much (which we did, not feeling up to the hassle of arguing with the guy all day).

this hotel is very close to the ben thanh market and it's close to a lot of sight seeing place in HCM city. It is new (only 1 year old) and it's definitely value for money. The staffs are friendly and helpful, but sometimes, their info is not up to date. They directed us to a clinic which was closed down more than 8 months ago.

This hotel is within an easy walking distance to many of the main tourist sites. I was there with my 70-year old father who has difficulty walking long distances and the location of this hotel was absolutely great.
The room itself was very clean though on the smallish side.
I would stay there again without hesitation.

Sanouva is a nice hotel in a very central location for District 1. Reception facilities are good, with helpful and friendly staff. It is also clean and tidy.
The rooms are spacious and clean and are equipped with modern, good quality, large wide-screen TV's that boast good satalite services.
The only problem is the breakfast service, which frequently (and quickly) runs out of food. Despite this failing, the menu is good.
The only other problem is children occupying the 2 internet computers, as inconsiderate parents appear to use this facility as a child-minding service (during my stay of 15 days, they were occupied for up to 3 hours at a time, and on at least 2 occasions, for more than 6 hours, by pre-teen children). This is very inconvenient for guests who need to check E-Mails whilst away from home. My recommendation would be for Management to provide a notice above the screens, stating "No Children", and "No Computer Games".
Shopping Tip:
The Central Market is only one block away.
There are 2 Co-op stores within 2km walking distance where normal groceries and provisions can be obtained and several excellent (multi-national) restaurants within easy walking distance.
