comfortable and clean hotel
clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient location for Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum.
Reasonable price for this quality.

This is a bargain considering its central position. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Check in was speedy. The hotel was spotless and breakfast was good. Free internet in the lobby was a bonus and rarely did we have to wait for a computer. I would recommend this hotel for short stays in the city.

My wife & I stayed here recently. I would highly recomend this hotel. The staff were very helpful & spoke good quality English. The Hotel is central to Ben Thanh markets & the main shopping area of HCMC. The rooms were clean & the breakfast was great. If your coming to an Asian country why would you want western meals? We would definately stay here again. Although the rooms are small, if you are like us, you only sleep there anyway. We walked to most areas of interest in this area. Do your selves a favour & go see the Cu Chi tunnels.
Shopping Tip:
Barter hard in the Ben Thanh markets. Great modern shops close to Rex Hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Sanuova Hotel in Ho Chi Ming City. The location is excellent right beside the local market where all tourist life in this city seems to end up at some stage. The staff were very helpful and arranged all our tours for us without any problem. We would certainly go back there again and would highly recommend it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cu Chi tunnels

this hotel is very clean and modern, if you are going to stay book the better grade rooms for only a few dollars more. very comfortable beds and only around the corner from ben thanh markets. only 4 blocks from the upmarket hotels and shopping ie. sheraton and caravelle. must do motor bike ride through the city!! amazing experience
Restaurant Tip:
Quan An Ngon is great for dinner but take your time and look around at different kitchens and dishes before you order

We arrived at hotel around 10am but the receiptionist kindly arranged room for us without any early check-in charge.Understand we were lucky enough to have available room at that time and it won't be always the same but we did appreciate for the staff's hospitality i/o just telling us to come back at original check-in time.
Though the hotel is not located in very center of entertainment but still within walking distance.(10-15 minutes walk from Don Khoi Street.)
Breakfast was not gorgeous but taste was good.
overall we can say the hotel offers great service with the reasonable price.

A great experience in District 1
* Great location - close to Ben Than market, museums, shopping & dining areas.
* Tours, motorbikes, long ride bus rental (price is around 25% higher than in Sinh Cafes though)
* Very friendly and helpful staff with good English knowledge
8.3
Hotel is very new, with nice ZEN-style rooms. Good and prompt cleaning, orchid as a bonus. The location is wonderful, War Remnants museum & Market - around 10 mins walk, any other can be reached within max 10 mins and 3-4 USD by taxi. Staff are very helpful, pleasant and nicely English speaking. We were let to checkout @ 2.30 pm instead of 12, because that's when our bus shuttle arrived. Also used their printer and guidance - no extra charge for anything. Motorbikes for $10 a day - a bit expensive, but reliable and no deposit or license or whatever required.
Travel tip:
Go to Benh Tran market for bargain shopping. For more comfortable go to Saigon Square (10 mins by Taxi/Motorbike).
Few spa/beauty parlors with gorgeous staff and 'happy ending' around.

Great loo! Very neat on the whole. Smiling staff. Amazing location. Can walk to everywhere important, especially Ben Thamn market which can be dangerous for shopaholics ;)
We stayed on a high floor in the double facing the city, great view even got to see some fireworks!

This was our second stay and it was everything that we expected. The room was clean and bright, breakfast was resonable (but not great). The staff were excellent and were friendly and knowlegable. Just around the corner from the night market (which is excellent). Internet access was both wired & wireless and of a reasonable speed. All in all an enjoyable stay.
Nightlife Tip:
Try the food at the night market, especially the seafood.

not bad for 3 star.
Modern decor. Good perks like free wi-fi and free breakfast. Good service and in decent shopping area of Ben Thanh district.
8.3
I usually stay at 5 Star hotels and must admit that for a 3 star the decor wasnt bad. The hallways which were not in the photos were pretty dark, outdated and the carpets were coming out of the edges. The breakfast may suffice for westerners but the asian selection was horrible since you can just go out on the street and get better quality food. On 3 separate occations the wifi and even the internet the lobby computer was not working. Service was very good and staff was very cordial. Price was very good for quality and value is good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
For US Travellers, buy "Magic Jack" and register in U.S. Once in Vietnam plug into your laptop with the free wifi and you can talk unlimited to anyone in states for free.

Sanouva Hotel - HCMC
Relatively brand new. Nice room ambience with marble finishing for wall & floor for the bathroom. Toiletries are provided.
Colour scheme is cosy.
Good locaton - can walk to Ben Tanh Market (5 mins) and to the downtown heart of the shopping belt (25 mins).
Very central location.
7.7
The hotel is centrally located with easy access to many places of interests. Taxis are easily available at the hotel entrance, but beware of the drivers who cheats.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. No facilities other than internet access. U can serve the internet from the room if U have your laptop. Otherwise 2 computers are available in the lobby for guests who do not have a laptop to use.
The medium size hotel looks brand new and is value for me. Do request for a higher floor if U are easily awaken by any noise as the road traffic below proves to be a little heavy from as early as 6am.
