Great Hotel- Great Location- Perfect

hotel is right in the heart of district 1.
staff are friendly and cater to all your needs.
rooms are large- book suites = extra room.
easy access and close to major sites and airport
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
mekong delta day trip a must- great tour guide- we where lucky.
war museum- eyeopener
cu chi tunnels- be selective and research the tour operator

Everyone there tried their best to make us comfortable. Our room was a bit small. It did seem like the best location to stay. We got really good advice from the tour desk every morning for free. The breakfast was good (though the coffee was not good). We didn't try the spa but it was priced right and looked nice so we would have if we'd stayed longer. We used the pool and fitness club--these are not located in the hotel but in a far fancier hotel about 100m away and they are top notch, really great.

Staying at Tan Hai Long was ok and I liked most was the breakfast was superb and its nearness to the Ben Than market also because its just a walk away from the hotel.

be careful when booking via Agoda

the location is good,needless to say. some flexibility and mobilization needed with the hotel reception counter. we needed to change our stay in the hotel from 28,dec to 30,dec because the sinh tourist had a tour on that day to cambodia. however, the hotel staff refused to change the dates for us even though there is room available. the reason is: we booked through the agoda and everything has to done via agoda. we ended up paying both the 28 and 30,dec room fee, which is not very present for four of us.

Noisy location and small room
only positive point is hotel is located near Ben Tanh market

Hotel is very noisy. Hotel is very busy during the day with a lot of people coming and going at any given time and lobby, tiny as it is, gets really crowded. On top of that, you hear the shower running or the noise of the water heater pump going from next room. Very noisy indeed. Room is very small also and not very clean. I wouldn't use this hotel again.

The hotel is right next to the markets and central Saigon. The staff are friendly and can not do enough for you. If I went back to Saigon I will be staying at this hotel again.

Good locations with convenience. However, bad experience is the SPA services. I was the last to enjoy the massage. i started at 10.05pm but ended at 10.55pm though i pay for 1 hour. I feel shortchanged.
The food breakfast can be improve to serve more variety and taste better.

Restaurant Tip:
If any one need indian (Jain Food) Hotel name is Tandoor if you ask any one they will give you address. From this location it will take around 10 min walking.
