Decent, good location but beware of scam
paid for deluxe but got a superior room instead
4.3
decent hotel in good location (japanese/expat area) of hcmc town. however the major downer of my stay there was that they given me a superior room without bathtub instead of the deluxe room with bathtub. as i am in no mood or has time to argue or move my things, i left it as it is.
will not go back again.
Restaurant Tip:
plenty of things to eat nearby.

in saigon you find hundreds of hotels in this category. the silverland wont be the worst one but definetly also not the best one. we booked over agoda and asked for a room with a big bed because our little son will sleep in our bed, a non-smoking room and a window. the first room they showed us was an imposition: it was a (very small) smoker's room with no window (it was in the 2nd or 3rd level).after our complain they showed us another room, slightly bigger, with a very small window in the 5th level. we said that this room is much better because it was not stinky like the other. bit then the manager (?) came and said that the room is already booked. so they showed us a third room next to the first one what was stinking so much. it was not really better so that we said we will change the hotel. then they made us the offer that we can get a deluxe room for USD more per night. it was a much bigger room then the others with a very big window. because we were tired and not in the mood to look for another hotel we agreed. the room was ok. because of the big window the noise from the street was very loud but that's ok when you are right in the center of saigon. the breakfast was not nice. they had some vietnamese dishes but to our opinion the quality was not good. that's why we decided to take breaktfast outside (what is wonderful in VN). the best about the silverland is it's location. it's very central, you can do a lot of things by foot and you have hundreds of restaurants around. the vincom mall is nearby and at the foodcourt there you can find also nice food for every taste. i won't go to the silverland again and would try another hotel in the area.

Only there from dinner, till after breakfast next morning-clean, and comfortable-airport transfer via hotel very good.
Breakfast was included in price, which was delicious and good value.
I would go back for an overnight trip-but for longervstaywould want a swimming pool, to escape the heat.

we had 3 nights stay in this hotel and only found that it is strategically located in the central of tourist attraction. otherwise, it provides descent services including it breakfast choices and ect.
a comparison with hotel where we stayed in hanoi, the customer service seem lacking in terms of warm, attentive and professionalism. i was once hanged up by its receptionist whom i ask for its wifi password. perhaps, she assumed that someone might have told me when i checked in.
we suggest you stay in this hotel if you are not to bother about its services. it is real convenient to go around ho chi minh city.

Good location and services
Clean rooms at valuable rate

We stayed for 2 nights in the hotel. It's very convenient location, just 30 minutes away from the international airport. The reception personnel provided good services on restaurant suggestion and local tour booking. Rooms are small but very clean and neat which we considered to be the most important thing. Spa was also worth to try. Breakfast was simple but at least to be filled up before heading off to the early tour time.
