Great place to stay if you're on a shopping trip, only 5 minute taxi ride to so many great markets. Buffet dinner was out of this world!!

I stayed for 4 nights at the sofitel saigon plaza with my husband and my daughter of 11. The hotel is decorated with a lot of tatste. the breakfast is delicious. Free internet Wi-Fi in the bedroom is a plus. The sample bathing products from L'Occitane are very nice.The swimmingpool is small but it is located on the roof and it has a very nice view on Saigon.

The most notable thing about the Sofitel Saigon Plaza was the friendliness of the staff: they were particularly helpful and cheery at all times. The rooms are of a good standard, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient for the reunification palace plus lots of business establishments only a short taxi ride away. Only drawback was the distance to decent restaurant options outside of the hotel

The hotel is very luxury but for me I think the wooden floor room with dimmy light is too creepy. Plus the working desk and sofa are in a seperate room, I prefer having everything in the same room so I can just walk here and there easily.
The staffs are very helpful and friendly, very impressive.
